Whoopi on "The View" apparently loves her some

she has talked about a huge 100+ pit bull, had it on their show this morning along with its owners and their small child. This dog has been making the rounds of the shows and yesterday showing a small segment and today she stated about "how if they are raised right", the usual when someone has one, how they are really good dogs (until they maim or kill of course) and raising them right. A lady in California just this week attacked and nearly killed (have not seen an update) if not killed by a pit bull. My neighbor down the street will never be the same again, walking her 2 small dogs attacked out of the blue, never saw it coming by 2 pit bulls another neighbor owned and this lady who was attacked spent months trying to recover from the attack, lost an ear, the aftermath has made her afraid to leave her home, etc. I am an animal lover, have rescued animals. Some places in my state do not allow pit bull rescues because of their unreliable nature, I know, BTDT. Having said this, I only wish they would just be sprayed, neutered and let the breed just fade away. I know one lady here in my state that said she raised her pit from a small dog, loved it, treated it good, and it turned on her son one day while the mother went to the bathroom, killing the child. She tries to talk and raise awareness of, nope not just the way you treat them but something definitely in the makeup. Oh, I know others say small dogs attack but how many poodles, wiener dogs, etc. do you know that jump up going for the throat and killing/maiming? There is no way under the sun I would ever have one or be around one knowingly.;
