The View...anyone sick of Joy Behar?

I think it\'s time for Joy Behar to leave the View. Need some new blood in her slot. Her humor is based mainly on gay bashing, gossip and put downs to anyone who doesn\'t agree with her. The view is getting a little stale anyway with the same gals in there too long so she would be a good one to replace, in my opinion. Any other thoughts from anyone?

I'm sick of all of them! I stopped watching The View years ago when the "ladies" became so political and decided that the only right way was their way. I care not for the opinions of celebrities...rather have opinions of my peers. I think the show should be cancelled but then I suppose some people like it so I just won't watch it as I do now.

There are comedians, a survivor from some island, an actress or two and then Babs (who really needs to retire). The Bill O'REilly walk off was really rude. What did they expect he was going to be a liberal democrat all of a sudden. I'm sick of the View too - I need find another thing for my break time!!

I thought I was the only one! She also has her own Joy Behar Show on CNN every night of the week. She thinks she is funny, sexually suggestive that she is all attractive to the male persuasion, and arrogant. She is NOT all that and a bag of chips. She has "guests" on her show, mostly the Hollywood types, asks them questions, but will not let them answer, interrupting with her own thoughts and opinions. She comes on and off goes the TV! Blah! Cannot stand her! FAKE!

The others I can tolerate. I used to enjoy watching it when Lisa Ling and Meredith Viera were on. Of course, both moved on to much better things. Elisabeth will be on that show forever as I can't see her moving on to anything else.

Joy doesn't bash gays, she wholeheartedly supports them. I watch Joy on both The View and her own show. I can't stand Eliz, Sherri's okay, and I like Whoopie so much more than Rosie.

She does "preach" that she is supportive of them, but she is constantly making gays the butt of her jokes. Or, for instance, someone looks gay, or acts gay. I noticed since the gay bullying incidents that have come to light lately that she has toned down her gay remarks. And it's not just gay's, she makes fun of and insults, she is downright rude to many people and then she thinks she is excused because she considers herself a comedienne. She's not the only one guilty of this. It amazes me how people can be so cruel. I used to enjoy her way back, but I don't anymore. She is just crude.

To accuse Joy Behar of gay bashing is outrageous. Joy was recently honored at the 21st Annual GLADD Media Awards, and a simple Google search shows that she is and has always been considered a fierce advocate for gay rights. You need to get your facts straight before you post such nonsense.

Before I knew who (or what) she was years ago I heard her sitting in for someone on a radio show. When talking about childhood diabetes with the doctor she was interviewing she said pregnant women are fat pigs and it's their fault. I went home and googled her name and found out who she was. I said lady you've got some nerve saying anyone is fat let along a pig.

Never listened to her again as I realized she is unqualified for anything except maybe... well I won't say as I don't want to insult anyone's job.

Most pregnant women take the opportunity to eat everything they can get their grubby little hands on, since they know they are going to gain weight anyway. Ultimately, many of them gain much more weight than they should during their pregnancy and are just plain old fat. I have no idea whether Joy Behar ever made the statement that pregnant women are fat pigs, but I don't care if she did. Many pregnant women are fat pigs!

Really? The 21st Annual GLADD media Awards? I know you mean well, but do you really think that represents even a fraction of the percentage of the every-day gay people in the country? I get my impression of Joy Behar by her actions and the words that come out of her mouth. I find it hard to believe that she is sincere in her support. I place no value in awards of any kind, but I will look up information on the GLADD media award thing. Always willing to learn something. Thanks for your comments.

I don't know about you, but I think it's time for some changes on The View. I think it's time for Joy and Barbara to go. I like Barbara, but she has gotten a little to intrusive and interrupts too much, and goes on and on redundantly. Joy...well, all she does is bash people.
