Went to my GYN a few months ago, given slip of paper for a follow up mammogram, supposed to be in the month of October. Got that. Wrote down in my monthly planner and also had the slip from the doctor. About the 5th or 6th of the month had a person calling, while I was working, to notify me of the October appointment. I explained I was working, on production, did not have the time to talk and she was insisting that I make the appointment right then. I again explained and getting antsy, I just hung up. This morning when I went for the mammogram, I had typed up stating that by law, if you ask for someone not to call a work number, which mine is, then that is what has to be done. I told the girl 20 years ago no one called to inform you of an appointment, no one. I was then informed that the person calling has to do that as they are responsible for my health care, that is the reason for the call. So now an office worker is responsible for me?
