Hypothetical Scenario in Ferguson

Posted: Oct 26, 2014

With the Grand Jury about to issue a decision on whether or not to go forward with criminal charges against Officer Wilson, and in preparation of potential riots based on that decision, does anyone think it would be a good idea for President Obama and Attorney General Holder to be in Ferguson at the time of the decision and stand arm in arm with the governor of Missouri, the mayor of Ferguson, the police chief, the county supervisor and anyone else of power to show strength and unity with whatever decision is handed down by the Grand Jury?

This post is not reflective of an opinion originated by me. It was an idea presented to me by someone else and I said I would post it here just to get a feel for what people are thinking. However, I do think it would be a good idea in order to potentially avoid possible tension and riots again. Too many innocent people (individuals and businesses) were hurt by those awful days back in August.

it would help. If it does not go the way they want, I think riots are going to happen no matter what, which makes me sad for the people of Ferguson.

I think Holder's presence was disruptive before and helped fuel the flames. Sad situation.

At the time of the grand jury announcement, the Liar In Chief will avoid Ferguson at all costs. You'll find him out on the golf course.

You are right, jmho - sm

The resident of the White House only serves to fan the flames of racism from his first day in office. He and Holder, the Bobsey Twins, will stay as far away from Ferguson as they can get. Unless the ruling goes "their way," of course.

So... What If We Don't Strike... Hypothetical MusingsSep 04, 2013
So a little girl hits a little boy every day to get his lunch money, but the little boy can't defend himself because he's not supposed to hit girls.  BUT, the little boy's parents are sick and tired of the little girl taking advantage of their young, respectful, ethical son.  So they tell the little boy to tell the little girl he has permission to hit her if she tries to steal his lunch money again.  Would the threat alone be a deterrant? I would love to see all ...

Same Story, Different ScenarioNov 04, 2010
I am posting this story so die-hard Obama and democrat haters can refresh their minds.  This was from back when Bush was in office and the public was sick of the republican ways.  This is only a reminder to the ones who are blaming the democrats for everything and Obama.  There are many people who are not happy with either party and rightly so.  It is nothing but games on both sides.  But for those who seem to think things were running so well before Obama and the democr ...

Ferguson Is Still Not Settling DownAug 18, 2014
Autopsy by Baden states six shots, none in back. Head shots could be from the stance of surrender or MB charging officer.  Still questions.  Toxicology will lend a lot to credibility of charging and out of control actions.  Wish officer version would be publicized; however, they may be holding it fearing it wil incite more violence, waiting for toxicology and autopsy to back it up.  Fear community will not accept either way.  Six shots is a lot of shots.  Still f ...

Ferguson MissouriNov 26, 2014
I am hoping that there will be PEACEFUL protests if some don't agree with the grand jury's decision concerning the Michael Brown case.  This evening protestors are not too far from my home and the constant whirring of helicopters makes it hard for me to concentrate on my work.  It is definitely a fact that no man is an island and one man's actions can reverberate across the country and the world and affect people who had absolutely NOTHING to do with what happened that ...

13 Facts About Ferguson The Media Will Never Tell You Nov 26, 2014
According to protesters who erupted in violence after a grand jury declined to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., this was the case of a white policeman shooting an unarmed black teenager with his hands in the air in a community plagued by racial tension. That's an account promoted by many in the mainstream media as well. But here are several facts about the case that are harder to find:1. Surveillance video showed that shortly before the ...

Ferguson Missouri - Michael BrownAug 14, 2014
The Ferguson police department must be stopped.  They are making the situation worse.  Why haven't they investigated the Michael Brown shooting?  Why haven't they released any information?  Why haven't they interviewed the witnesses?  Why did they leave the body in the street for so long?  Why did the Mayor take over 2 days to address the family.   It seems by their silence that they are condoning repeatedly shooting that man.    Ther ...

Chief Jackson - Ferguson, MissouriSep 25, 2014
Maybe an effort to distance himself from the "bad" cops.  Maybe helps Ferguson in their civil rights law suit.  And, IMO, (and only my opinion) they might just indict Darren Wilson after all.  Frankly, if there is any culpability at all, it makes sense to save the city and hang Wilson out, guilty or not.  Personally, I think he is guilty, but that really doesn't matter.   http://preview.msn.com/en-us/video/news/ferguson-police-chief-apologizes/vi-BB5J85K ...

Racist Ferguson Emails Released.Apr 04, 2015
Some of them I have seen before on right wing websites.  The concerning thing is these kinds of disgusting racist/homophobic beliefs and actions are not isolated to the police and courts in Ferguson, Mo.  Some racist emails were uncovered in SF.  I have personal contacts in the LAPD and can only imagine what is in their server! Racism has pretty much taboo over the last 50 years and kept underground, spoken in private hush hush voices.  The internet and anonymity has flushed ...

Ferguson Protesters Now Protesting Over Not Getting PaidMay 26, 2015
At least some of the protesters who looted, rioted, burned buildings and overturned police cars in Ferguson, Missouri, last year were promised payment of up to $5,000 per month to join the protests. However, when the Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), the successor group to the now-bankrupt St. Louis branch of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), stiffed the protesters, they launched a sit-in protest at the headquarters of MORE and created a Tw ...

Ferguson Police Chief News ConferenceAug 15, 2014
The police officer who killed MB did not stop MB due to being a robbery suspect.  He clearly, repeatedly, stated that this cop did not know there was a robbery, he only stopped him because he was walking down the street.  Chief states his info is from St. Louis County Police Dept interview with police officer who did the shooting.  Sort of pulls the wind from the sails of that "big mean, strong arm robber," and feeling threatened because he is such a criminal.  Then the med ...

Federal Officials Lectured People In Ferguson About 'white Privilege.'Dec 08, 2014
One day after the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, officials from the Justice Department's Community Relations Service arrived in Ferguson. They were there to investigate potential civil rights violations, but the National Review reports that they also used this time to hold townhall-style meetings with residents and to question and educate them on subjects like white privilege and racism. Audrey Watson, a community resident, said federal officials organized attendees int ...
