Was waffling, thinking, deciding, wondering - then today, bam! I just decided, I'm gonna do it! I've got about a month to churn stuff out - make some big pieces, then some smaller things (lots of smaller things), some fun humorous things. Just to guage interest, before I start putting stuff on eBay or Etsy.
Fun, but a lot of work from now till then. Really have to paint like a demon - just now I realize demon and lemon are pretty much spelled the same - anyway, getting off track! But I've got a ton of ideas, and boom! clear the decks...
My dad told me a story about my great-uncle, who made fishing lures and lead sinkers - he put a hook in everything, that way he could dip them in paint, then hang them up to dry, he put a trough of some kind under them, to let them drip into. So anyway, with the spirit of my great-uncle investing all my creative efforts - it's all good. My grandmothers both sewed, and my one grandmother refinished and reupholstered furniture.
Today when my niece came over, I had some of my stuff I'm painting for Halloween, ahem, "all over the place," she was just looking at things and then looking at me - no, I am not your typical aunt! She is turning 12...that tender in-between age...
anyway, on to the craft show! Just wanted to share what some of the possibilities are, when your ENERGY is not getting SUCKED AWAY by medical transcription - you can do it! Quit, stumble, fail, and then rise back up.
