Our choices in groceries now tell campaigns

Posted: Sep 14, 2012

an appeal to civic duty, some some little pokes to keep that fear actiive.

Now, I'm pretty sure fear doesn't work well on me. If-it-bleeds-it-leads and all those (usually incredibly stupid) bank robbers on Fox to remind us what a dangerous world it is are a sure way to get me to change the channel. What I'm really wondering is what the pot roast I just bought told these behavioral psychology profilers about me.

Seriously, they're taking the very little info on our voter registrations and adding analyses of the ultimately hundreds of thousands of choices we make, results of phone canvasses, etc. Now, in all the years we've been answering NRA surveys honestly they've never thrown us off their rolls. I always wondered why, and now I'm wondering if it might be all those potroasts and mashed potatoes. If I paid for some couch time would I find out I'm really only a DINO?  :)

I'm worried about what's made of my hummus. - ! NM

Clear Choices.Oct 07, 2012
I am middle-aged. Sometimes in past elections when I have voted for President, my guy has won and sometimes he has lost, but one thing has been consistent. I might feel confident in victory or somewhat dejected in defeat, but I have always slept well that night--knowing that in 4 more years, whatever came or went, America would be fundamentally sound and our leaders (President in chief) would steer us safely through whatever lay ahead. This year, both presidential candidates have ...

"How Hillary Clinton's Choices Predict Her Future"Nov 26, 2012
From the Washington Post (yeah, still there :): "In recent weeks, Hillary Clinton has reiterated that she will not stay on for President Obama’s second term, unleashing fresh waves of speculation about her plans.  There is hypothesizing that she is merely entering a hibernation period before a 2016 presidential bid. There is talk that she will start her own women’s rights initiative. There is the prospect, too, that this might really be it for one of the most iconic figures in ...
