I'm not being rude, it appears some people may be mistakenly thinking she got a lump sum?
She got one recent large donation of $1000 and another of 500 I believe. The rest of it's all been at various times.
The donations have come in piecemeal. She didnt ever have a huge amount to put into any savings accounts, apparently she pays everything for the month that she can with what she gets; car payment, insurance, etc, and waits for the next month to pay things again from what I'm seeing.
I'm not sure if that headlights thing was really necessary or not. I would kind of assume so, for night driving. I cant say for sure. But the rest of the car work looked like regular maintenance so she has a way to continue working until the checks start.
From what I read and think I understood, she will wait for her checks to start, and then live in her car another few months to hoard a few checks for deposits on a place? That seems like logical reasoning, for the most part. She's already apparently applied and has to wait for social security to start.
I dont wish her ill, it just seems that her story is, from what I see on the Fund page, I dont know, like she's almost completely helpless in life decision-making skills for things like this?
I can't say what I'd do in this type of situation, how well I'd make it or not, but I pray I dont have to find out.
Praying, but not sending any more money. I did once, that's enough. Looks like she's got enough of her political type friends to support her. Most of us can barely scrape together the bills for the month for ourselves.
