Not sure - Life is Rough

I don’t know if the people who donated realized that they would be paying for oil changes and headlight modifications on her van, that’s all I’m saying. Her car loan is a title equity loan, close to being paid, maybe some funds could be used to get that paid to recover the title and it would save a lot in interest and principal. She apparently had a food delivery job and was taking the dogs along everywhere she went. None of it is my business, but truthfully I got hooked on the blogs and noticed that it’s one thing after another and the amount of money required has gone from something like $1000 to $5000. If I were sending money I think I’d want some accountability. It looks as if she plans to live off donations and keep asking for more until SS kicks in and I’m not sure what the plan is after that. I think you can get SS on your birthday but you have to apply about 4 months in advance of when you want your benefits to start. We used to have homeless people soliciting outside one of our grocery stores and the management told people not to give them cash, food donations were the better thing to do. I still think that social services in her town must have some kind of assistance, there must at least be a food bank, and jobs, well I’ve been reading the uneducated, no skills story for a while and don’t buy that, and she’s turned down live-in housekeeping jobs and quit another because she didn’t get along with her coworkers. I still think that putting some of her donation money into a savings account of some kind is not a bad idea. Even a small amount, without regular deposits, is going to draw interest. It’s sad, because I think once someone finds themself in this situation, it’s very difficult to get out, but people do it. However, it does require some effort and making difficult choices. I just need to stop visiting her Go Fund Me page and stop thinking about it.
