We have all struggled in this field. I got out 8 years ago. Not sure what she means by she doesn't have a skill set other than MT. That is so not true. If you can learn MT and keep up with all the software changes, etc., you can learn a new software program for office work. Even if you don't want to do that, you certainly know how to answer a phone, which means you can get a job answering phones.

FYI: Above poster's information about IRAs and things like that is very good advice. I did just that, starting years ago, and I'm in a good spot now to retire. It's not all about Go-Fund-Me. I answered phones after MT for a few years to get me to SS Retirement Benefits.

What you need to pray for is the strength to get out of your hole the right way. It is NOT easy.
