Thank you for that post. It makes perfect sense to most people. I think she puts these on the prayer board, because that's where she gets the most "understanding," with a better chance of someone sending her money.
Use your money more wisely. I am hoping that you didn't get these pets AFTER you were in dire straits, or knew you were headed that way. That would be a foolish purchase. If you got them for free, then it was still foolish. Pets cost money and need care, so you would have taken in an innocent pet, knowing full well you couldn't provide well.
You would be taken more seriously if you asked for pet food donations in the form of actual pet food. It just doesn't come across as sincere when you only want money.
I find it extremely odd that you are addressing your mother on here and asking for help. Unless she reads this board, she isn't going to see your message. Another reason this seems like a bit of a ploy. I'm not saying you're not in dire straits, but you are purposely tugging at the heartstrings of us here on the Prayer Forum. Some of us obviously see through it.
