D'Souza explains to college student why nationalism

Posted: Jul 28, 2017

He really can articulate and keep it simple what his point is.;

Here's another excellent video by him on why - abortion should not be subsidized.

[ In Reply To ..]
If it's consider a right, then why aren't all the other rights subsidized?

Thanks for posting. That is true. What drives up the cost - is covering routine healthcare, not

[ In Reply To ..]
even the preexisting or catastrophic.

As you can tell from posting here, it's hard to have a debate with a confrontational progressive.

Wrong. Routine screenings and preventative care. sm - oldtimer

[ In Reply To ..]
to keep people healthy are the prescription for avoiding more costly care in the future.
I guess you didn't watch the video. This was explained - xx

Many of these invasive screening procedures - have been found not be necessary
[ In Reply To ..]
or can be done much more cheaply. Like colonoscopies. This can be with an ultrasound and it is much, much cheaper.

The data suggests that when things are caught early, like pre-diabetes, that people fail to make the necessary lifestyle changes and then go on to develop diabetes. Will people who smoke and thus develop cancer, drink and thus develop pancreatitis, have a poor diet and develop diabetes make the necessary lifestyle changes?

Another way to look at it, is preventative care really consider routine doctor visit?

I wonder if people who will pay $150 for a new iPhone - would pay one dime for something

[ In Reply To ..]
that would save their life.

You can't live without food, so should the gvt pay for that too? Using the same logic this would prevent me from dying.

You get to bail people out for their poor choices, like - smoking, drinking, etc.

[ In Reply To ..]
My neighbor calls single payer Charlie Gard insurance

I suspect that a lot of the thumbs down votes will be - from people who don't even watch

[ In Reply To ..]
the video. They just see the name and will vote down. I like how he doesn't get confrontation back and explains his position clearly

They've been taught that American exceptionalism - (which just means we are the exception

[ In Reply To ..]
to the rule) is bad and that putting country first is somehow fascists.

America’s death-spiral is tightening. Watch some man on the street youtube videos and you'll see a bunch of clueless people who have no idea about their history.

I was thinking of the Beatle's song Revolution....

"But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao

You ain’t going to make it with anyone anyhow"

If you can find it, read the Roosevelt Myth by - John T. Flynn. Once of the things

[ In Reply To ..]
that stuck out in my mind was the phrase, "the domestication of individuality" — by any means that would make the individual more dependent upon government.

The BIG thing the Left is guilty of is what they - try to associate with

Republicans...

D'Souza's MoviesJul 06, 2014
I never saw "2016: Obama's America" until today (link below). Someone here on MTStars suggested that we see that first before the newest movie. Now that I've seen it, I'm prepared to see the new one. D'Souza makes 3 predictions near the end of the movie, which he made in 2012, I believe. Two have come true. The third is nearly true as of now. There is also mention made of a "United States of Islam." Could this actually be ISIS? The movie is slow at times, but it is educatio ...

Student Suspended For Shaping Mar 04, 2013
Baltimore, MD (KTNV) -- A student in Baltimore was suspended over breakfast. 7-year-old Josh Welch was eating a Pop-Tart at school. A teacher saw the pastry and said she thought it looked like it was being shaped into a gun. The teacher also said she heard Welch say, "Bang Bang" while he was holding it. That was enough to get him suspended. Welch said his teacher got it completely wrong, "It was already a rectangle and I just kept on biting it and tore off the top, and it kind of ...

Question...what Happens To The Student That MisbehavedOct 28, 2015
What did she do to bring the security office to the classroom. Was she expelled?  What did her parent (parents) do - did they make her apologize to the teacher - to the security officer?  Did they "ground" her - I can only imagine what my parents would have done if I had behaved that way  - I would have been working my fingers to the bone doing something somewhere for someone - to let me know in no uncertain terms that my behavior was not acceptable - and in raising my 2 kids, it ...

US Gvt Caught Massively Fabricating Student Loan Jan 19, 2017
Ever since 2012 we have warned that one of the biggest threats arising from the US student loan bubble - which is no longer disputed by anyone except perhaps members of the outgoing administration - is not that it is soaring at an unprecedented pace, that's obvious for anyone with the latest loan total number over $1.4 trillion, rising at a pace of nearly $100 billion per year, but that the government - either on purpose or due to honest miscalculation - was not correctly accounting for the ...
