Hillary put on quite a show

Posted: Jan 23, 2013

during her Benghazi testimony. Gotta luv her little show of outrage. TRANSCRIPT: SENATOR JOHNSON: Again, again we were mislead that there were supposedly protests and something then sprang out of that, an assault sprang out of that, and that was easily ascertained that that was not the fact, and the American people could've known that within days and they didn't know that. HILLARY CLINTON: With all due respect, the fact is we had 4 dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again Senator. ;

You consider that a show? - RC

Ok.

The only show was Rand Paul. Made a total - fool out of himself.nm

Good for Rand. He asked the questions that needed to be asked. - Too bad HC couldn't answer.

His statements were way out of line. He's a punk. - what question
[ In Reply To ..]
He got on his soapbox, insinuated Hillary was leaving because of Benghazi, then asked some ridiculous question about Turkey. He made a total fool out of himself.
Out of line and sounded silly pretending he'd ever be president. - He may not realize just how marginal he is, tho. n

Pretending is as close as junior will ever get to the WH. - Loved HC's "Turkey!?!?" astonishmen
[ In Reply To ..]
I agree. He gained my respect even more - Hillary is not Queen - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
Rand, like his father, is a man of honor. HC is no queen. She cannot just do what she wants. She needs to be held responsible the same way if a republican was in the position. Just because someone has a "D" attached to their name does not mean they have the authority to do what they want, when they want, without permission, and without consequence.

HC was out of control and her display of a childish temper tantrum, lies, arrogance and deceit shames her even more. What she did (or didn't do) resulted in men being killed. What is up with her smirks, and swaying back and forth in her chair like she was listening to some music, then sat with her chin in her hand as though she was bored. Very disrespectful. She is a disgrace to her profession and to all women who one day would like to become involved in politics.

Mr. Paul was very calm, collect (more than I would have been at her complete incompetence) and just stated the facts as they were presented.

Good for you Mr. Rand. Keep up the good work. We need more leaders like you.

The Sarge
I think his question about Turkey that he - read in the news
[ In Reply To ..]
was a quite embarrassing display.

HC's reaction said it all.

The only reporting agencies regarding this totally ignorant question was right-wing sources.

So, he based his questions on something he "heard?" Really?

Calm, collected, because he was reading a carefully prepared piece of garbage. "If I was president..." Only in his dreams and it's doubtful even if that nightmare came true, a person of HC's integrity would never serve under him.

And he even went so far as to say she was leaving because of Beghazi. She said she was leaving nearly 2 years ago. Maybe they didn't report that on Fox and he missed the memo... He is an embarrassment to even his party. That little lie/spin was so obvious and ridiculous to everyone.
You must have been watching a different news than the rest of us - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
I watched it on the internet in a few different places. It was the same video I saw but, but you must have been watching something different. Mr. Paul was very professional and just spoke matter of factly. Hillary's poor performance was an embarrasing display. Laughing at inappropriate times, moving around her seat like she was listening to a walkman, chin on her hand like she was board. Disrespectful childish temper tantrums, and lying.

HC and integrity are not two words that even can be thought of in the same sentence.

But go ahead, keep watching MSLSD and have them tell you what to think.

Mr. Rand is a fine and upstanding senator and everyone should be proud of his professionalism he showed today despite having to deal with that.

HC is an embarrassment to her party and to all women.
Rand Paul is nothing of what you said. He was - disrespectful
[ In Reply To ..]
He is only respected by his kind, and I'm not talking about Republicans.
How so?. He is well respected by all politicians - It's the republican-haters that hate.
[ In Reply To ..]
Asking questions that need to be asked is not disrespectful. He showed respect, was calm and collect in a time when he should have come down stronger on her. Maybe because he had children he was able to deal with her childish and disrespectful behavior.

We obviously didn't watch the same news station. MSNBC really does a job on your mind. So filled with hatred for anyone not with "D" label that all rational thinking has gone down the drain.

What you wrote is just wrong. Here's a hint, stop watching MSNBC...they rot the brains of their listeners to the point they cannot even think clearly.

Acting like a child too bored to be there, laughing at inappropriate times, swaying in her chair back and forth like she's got some friggin music playing and then resting her chin in her hand in an obvious look of boredom as if saying "yeah, yeah dad can you hurry it up I've got cartoons I want to go watch" is not respectful, nor adult.

Mr. Rand is well respected by his peers, hated by anyone who dares to hold democrats responsible for their actions.

HC is not "queen", nor are any d's for that matter. She will be held responsible, she will be answer for her actions. She failed at her job. She is a disgrace.

Mr. Rand was professional, calm and collect and just stated the facts as they were.

Get over it.
Please post MSM report regarding Turkey - and Libya
[ In Reply To ..]
besides ones criticizing Hannity or whoever it was from Fox who dreamed this up.

He is not well respected by main stream, responsible Republicans. His peers include Democrats (yes, it's true!!), one of whom walked out because the content of his "statement" was so offensive and disrespectful.
No - It's the republican-haters
[ In Reply To ..]
What do you mean please post. Do you really want to watch the whole HC embarrassing herself again video. It's all over the internet.

Wouldn't know about Hannity or any others cos I don't watch them.

Mr. Rand is very well respected throughout his peers. Just because you don't like that doesn't not mean its not true. If people would put aside the republican hate and just would become neutral then we might be able to get somewhere, but since you are not and are making things up.

bye bye kiddies. See you when you grow up.
Seriously. I want to know more about this gun - running
[ In Reply To ..]
Rand Paul speaks of.

I watched HC compose herself from a hysterical outburst when she heard Paul's question.

If he is well respected by his peers, then why did one walk out? As I said before, his peers also include those on the other side of the aisle. They are all laughing and the Republicans are embarrassed.

I don't hate Republicans. I just have no respect for the way Paul addressed her. Even the other ones who criticized her during the hearing didn't stoop so low as to accuse her of leaving office because of Benghazi. Just a lie and an outright wingnut maneuver that did not do Paul or his political future any good.
I've been checking back and you still have - nothing NM

We all saw how the initial reports from Sandy Hook were inaccurate. It's a crisis. People are saying what they think. It gets published.

I am not playing dumb here. I would appreciate it if someone could explain what the issue is with Benghazi.

I think the only one who really asked tough questions was - John McCain. The others praised her over and over

[ In Reply To ..]
.

That was - sickening!

[ In Reply To ..]
I mean, I understand there's a certain level of respect that should be shown to her office, but at one point I actually had to look at the TV to see if the senator that was talking was actually bending over to kiss her butt! Then she sits there with her head in her hand, like she's bored out of her mind, completely disrespectful, and has the gall to say what does it matter? Um, it matters because the administration lied, that's why it matters!! I shudder to think what the response of those dem. senators would have been had it been a repub. sitting in that chair saying it didn't matter.

Why do you dislike her so much? On the whole...sm - VTMT

[ In Reply To ..]
the consensus is that she has performed very well as Secretary of State and increased respect for our country throughout the world. Again, what exactly is your problem with Hillary?
Ummm.... - Benghazi, anyone?
[ In Reply To ..]
The hearing is focusing only on the Benghazi debacle, not her whole career performance.
she's leaving for goodness sakes!! - respect anyone?
[ In Reply To ..]
They all said goodbye, wished her well, and for the most part were appreciative of the countless hours she dedicated to what has to be one of the most difficult jobs in the world. She racked up more miles than any other SOS.

To do otherwise would be disrespectful. The only one who was that was Rand Paul.
So what if she's leaving? That means we have to praise her for (sm) - NM
[ In Reply To ..]
being responsible for the death of 4 Americans? I think not. If you think that's a good idea, you go right ahead and sing her praises to the heavens.
I long for the days of Condi too... - those were the days!
[ In Reply To ..]
What a record she had!! What a great intelligence team generated by Bush!!

Thousands killed, thousands maimed, thousands of lives changed forever.

BTW... The House is still blocking money appropriated to State Dept for protection overseas. It was in the Senate Sandy bill, but House bill omitted it from final bill that passed.
Then perhaps you should Google CR's and HC's names plus embassy attack and - read up on her support for Clinton.
[ In Reply To ..]
A good place to start would be with this "let's not jump to conclusions" on Benghazi piece and take it from there.

There have been others, as I imagine you well know. Can you tell us about them, name some of the other current hot spots brave diplomats are serving our country at? So we'll understand what you know that makes you so concerned. About the people serving us out there, of course, not "Hillary."
Right up until - September...
[ In Reply To ..]
I thought she had done a great job as SOS, but her handling of this situation has been sorely lacking. If she didn't know what was happening, why not? If she did know what was happening, why wasn't something done? Just too many unanswered questions and too many people more interested in passing the buck.
That's the LIB consensus - and their judgment is questionable a best
[ In Reply To ..]

There was nothing in her post to suggest she disliked her "so much" - why don't you like posters talking about issu
[ In Reply To ..]
How about addressing the subject matter. The poster talked about the events that happened today.

There is no concensus that she has performed well. In the democrats mind, well yeah of course. In the country and the worlds mind, no. She has been a failure at her job. She has lost any respect we may have had. People in other countries watch what she does and they are now laughing.

Poster you replied to showed no disrespect towards her or anyone here. She spoke about what she observed as many of us saw the same thing.

Again, what exactly is your problem with posters who will post about events or issues that happened when they don't make posts personal?
Because the poster you are addressing CANNOT discuss - any issue - has to shoot right to
[ In Reply To ..]
namecalling and insults towards anyone's opinion she does not like. Completely intolerant of everyone/anyone with a different POV. Her world must be a sad, tiny little place - not to mention poorly educated and informed on current events. Would serve her well to set the insults aside long enough to actually LISTEN AND READ.

Her testimony is exactly what the committee and all - experts expected--this is well documented

[ In Reply To ..]
by now. She's just reporting what the documentation that's already been read says.

BTW, Senator Johnson's misapprehension that "the American people" "didn't know that?" Pure rubbish. It was being reported all day on all networks. On the first day, they were reporting the Algerian government's questionable story of a protest, already intermixed with clearly contradictory stories from people who were there. By the second day at most, we were all seeing the Algerian government's report pushed aside as lacking credibility in favor of interviews with neighbors who reported the silence of the night being suddenly broken by vehicles rushing up and all hell breaking loose.

Righteous indignation - not pretty.

[ In Reply To ..]
