Requesting prayer after a fall

I posted a few days ago on the Health Board. I had a very bad fall down icy cement steps last Friday. My ankle was terribly swollen, and I have a bad abrasion on the top of my foot. Later I posted, saying things were looking better.

Today the condition seems worse again. The top of my foot is red and very warm. I have been on antibiotics since last Sunday. The wound on the top of my foot was looking much better and beginning to dry out. Now tonight it looks like it may be infected again. I am trying very hard to do the right things.

My ankle and leg hurt so bad, and I live alone. It is impossible to stay off the extremity for very long. I know it has only been a week, but I am getting worried again, and I am concerned about the bad swellling. The x-rays showed no break, but the pain is very bad.

I would appreciate your prayers in this matter. The swelling tonight is worse than ever. Thank you.

You are in my prayers, but maybe you should call and/or go to an urgent care ASAP. Nothing to mess around with. Wishing you the best and keeping you in prayer. May God bless you.

As one who spent 12 days getting IV antibiotics for pneumonia that I let go on too long, I would definitely tell you to go to an urgent care or better yet the ER.

Things have changed and when they change they need to be handled. Maybe the antibiotic is not strong enough for this or perhaps there is something else you can do.

It may also be that there is a hairline fracture somewhere that didn't show up on the x-ray.

Please go. Let me tell you, I won't wait as long as I did again.

Maybe getting to the ER or an urgent care facility is especially difficult because of finances, but I urge you to step out in faith and go. God knows your need in this situation, and we ask that He would provide all resources necessary and heal you.

Just wanted to say thank you for the prayers, and to let all of you know the abrasion on my foot looks much better now. The morning after I requested prayer I saw a definite difference. I am still taking Keflex 3x per day, and I apply triple antibiotic ointment to the foot. I am hopeful things are making a turn for the good now. Again, my sincere thanks.
