Four suspected al-Qaeda militants were killed by drone. This in the midst of the high terror alert over the weekend and prison break-out of many al-Qaeda militants.

It's confusing to me that any republican would scoff at taking out terrorists.

Obama is certainly not "starting a war," so I don't know where you got that from.

I'm not sure what you think he should do about terrorists, but he has to do SOMETHING.

He's darned if he does, he's darned if he doesn't.

Hey, some're so contrary they'd be outraged at Michelle - offering food to children at a lawn party. :)

For those who "missed" it, this forum was briefly on fire after Michelle Obama offered healthy food (including crudites!), in addition to the usual sugary stuff, to children attending the White House Easter egg roll last spring -- an all-day event.

Some were truly outraged big time--un-American, how dare she, what else would you expect from HER? :)

They already did that. Remember the .... - VTMT

Easter egg roll when she served healthy snacks to the kids? What a ruckus. Easter and Halloween are sacred holidays and nothing but candy will do!
Oh, - the humanity!

I'm sure those poor children will need therapy for years to get over the trauma of crunchy veggies! I can imagine it now:

"And then she handed me this thing--it was green, so I was confused. I bit into it, and it crunched like a potato chip. But it WASN'T a potato chip! They told me it was good for me, so I ate it! What did I know, I was only a child. I can't believe I ate it. I still have nightmares."

Yemen's Handling Of Ex-Gitmo PrisonersNov 29, 2009
ADEN, YEMEN -- Two years ago, Mohsin al-Askari was released from his prison cell at Guantanamo Bay, but he has found neither freedom nor a new life in his homeland. Potential employers are afraid to hire him. At 28, he depends on his father for financial support, charities for medical care. With each rejection, his frustration grows, as does the temptation to return to his old life of jihad. "The government hasn't done anything to help me," said Askari, his voice filled with bitterness. ...

Senator Lieberman Calls For 'preemptive' Attack On YemenDec 28, 2009
(I personally think this is crazy talk. Al Qaeda is in a LOT of countries, probably including the USA. Does that mean we should launch a "preemptive attack" on ourselves? War mongers cry poor when it comes to healthcare for Americans, but they always seem to have enough money for wars. I have to wonder if any of this has to do with Lieberman having dual citizenship with Israel, and I wonder where his loyalty truly lies.) By Stephen C.
