Wow...after doing some quick research

It appears that Mr. Perry may be more of a RINO than Romney is.  How disappointing?  :(

Rick Perry also attended Bilderberg. sm - LVMT

I assume Fox News will be immediately annointing him the frontrunner. This secretive group of wealthy, powerful global elites is said to not only influence our policies, but they also select our Presidents. We may be stuck with Rick Perry whether we want him or not.

He was Algore's campaign chairman - sm

There is something about him that I just don't trust. I think the sleeziest of politicians are the one's who keep changing parties because they think they have a better chance of winning in a different party. Unless he comes out and denounces Gore (the guy should be arrested IMHO) and really comes down hard on that pair then I just don't trust him.

You either stand on your beliefs and voting record or not. I'd like to know what has changed that he is now a republican. Need to do some more looking into that guy.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will have a choice. What better way to push their agenda than to put a guy in who claims to be a republican but actually has voted and has a liberal agenda.

What's that saying...if something is too good to be true....

I'd vote for Porky Pig... - hmmm

It's highly likely that after 2012 election, smurfs and pigs - will be the only ones running the country.

Miss Piggy gets my vote--time we got a woman heading up the country. Ever since I read "Miss Piggy's Guide to Life," I have greatly admired Miss Piggy. She's a woman who goes after what she wants!

Just A Quick ObservationFeb 18, 2011
How many posts did we see about the tea party protests and how they claimed to be racist as well as inciting violence?  Now we have these unions workers protesting in WI with the governor sporting Hitler's mustache and several posters that could be taken as inciting violence....and yet I don't see anyone pointing that out.  Why is that?   ...

Need Input Quick!Apr 10, 2014
My son is a military man, has been for near 15 years now.  As long as he has been active duty, it seems that he is deployed for at least 6 months out of the year.  About 7 years ago he met a nice gal who lived in the city where he was stationed, things progressed and they married.  She was fully aware, of course, that he is active duty and what was required of his service.  6 years ago they had my grandson AND, were informed that they would be stationed elsewhere.  DIL ...

Just A Quick Thought About Cindy AnthonyJun 24, 2011
Did anyone notice yesterday how she said she probably was at home doing those searches even though it shows she was working?  Did she get paid for working even though she wasn't?  That is a crime in an of itself.  Maybe she'll get nailed for that by her employer.  Wouldn't it be fun for her to try to get herself out of that one.  It is very obvious to me she is lying to protect her daughter.  What will she tell her boss when they tell her she stole fr ...

Ideas For Quick At Home Halloween Snacks?Oct 31, 2009
Having 3 kids sleep over for Halloween, looking for something simple to make that is not too sweet. There's enough candy in the house, want to serve something simple but special that's not too hard to make. Having brain freeze! Looking forward to a fun, safe Halloween with movies, games and letting them pass out the candy after they go around a bit. No sickness yet, thank God, but a young girl in our NE state did die from H1N1 this week. Very sad. Lots of handwashing around here. ...

I've Been Doing Some Research On Oil.Jul 16, 2010
A lot of debate has been going on in regards to drilling for oil especially in light of the tragic oil spill in the Gulf.  Many people do not want to drill in our own country and I understand that.  There are risks involved.  However, technology has decreased the risks and I believe that if big oil companies had followed regulations and let inspections occur when they should have, that this recent disaster could have been avoided.  In saying that, I'm all for looking int ...

This Is MY Research May 30, 2012
Many conservatives argue that our economy can flourish only when the federal government gets out of the private sector’s way. Many progressives counter that in our free market system, there are times when the government needs to step in to protect the common good and ensure there is broad-based economic growth. This debate defines our politics today. Americans of all political persuasions, however, should agree that quick and decisive government action was necessary between 2008 and ...

I've tried to search online for the percentage of Americans receiving SS disability, the reasons for disability, etc.  Does anyone have a good site for this?  I'm also interested in children under the age of 18 receiving supplemental income payments for "disability".  I ask in part because I am of the firm belief that a great many of us are working while other abled persons drawing these type payments are not.  I also quite frankly do not understand how a child, wh ...

what going on with this Bristol-thing.  The most telling are the right-wing and Teaparty websites.   What seems to be coming to light is that this wasn't just a "call your Teaparty friends and vote for Bristol" deal, it's now starting to look like manipulation and voter fraud for political gain.   One person said he tested ABC's online voting system, and discovered that, although you're limited to 5 votes per email address, you aren't limited to the ...

Why'd The GOP Bother To Suppress Research Findings That We Can Tax OutrageouslyNov 03, 2012

TP-driven Sequester Is "devastating Medical Research"Sep 19, 2013
We know that with the economy weakening, the GOP renegades in the House threaten to depress and destabilize it further by shutting the government down to get attention, and this is really small potatoes compared to that, but still...it's bad. Excerpt from the National Journal, a moderate Washington "insider" journal" "Now consider the National Institutes of Health. Francis Collins, the remarkable scientist heading up the agency, has said that the sequester is devastating medical research: ...
