Why did Trump meet with the RNC today?

After all, didn't he say he's being treated unfairly by them over and over and over and over 100s of times? Did he go to raise heck, stomp his feet in protest, threaten to run 3rd party again, or just plain threaten....

I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. Plus the rest of the world finds him ridiculous and a clown, so we're going from "the Messiah" to Ronald McDonald.

You will find out why Trump went to RNC on news if you have cable. He is appearing on several shows this evening and I am sure the RNC representative who spoke with Trump will make appearances as well.

The "rest of the world" has big economic and terror issues of their own they should be focused on. I do believe you are grasping at straws with your anti-Trump comments.

Maybe the "rest of the world" finds it ridiculous a person who is being investigated by the FBI is running for president or maybe "the rest of the world" thinks it is ridiculous that there is so much corruption in our government where lawmakers accept bribes in exchange for votes on the bribers behalf.

just stringing along words and he is dangerous, extremely dangerous. The leaders, you can bet your bottom dollar on this, are doing anything they can to not have him be the nominee. I like what Louisiana did, Trump won and Cruz wound up with the majority. Maybe other states can do the same but then again, it is not the votes that actually get the president in but the delegates.

RNC CANNOT tell Trump what to say or do. They kick him out, they lose the election. It is their best interest to make peace not war. And they need to reign in Cruz and Kasich who have said they will not honor their pledge to support the Republican candidate.

RNC needs Trump. Trump dues not need RNC. It's that simple. Trump leaves, he splits the Republican vote because his supporters will follow Trump and they will not vote for any alternative the Republicans put up.

That gives the election to Clinton - if she is not indicted. I do not believe that is what the RNC has in mind.

I know others want to get statistics but if people watch any news station or read any on line reports they will see many GOP are talking about they think they have lost already. RNC cannot afford to lose this election to have Clinton appoint liberal supreme court justice(s). They are trying to make peace and if they are smart, they will reign in Cruz and Kasich because if Trump is ostracized, he takes a lot of voters with him, including Democrats who crossed over to support him and many others who will not accept a substitute Republican. This is a mess and it is up to the Republican party to fix it.

Lindsay Graham, SC, Mitt Romney, Glenn Grathman, Wis., Karl Rove, Mitchell McConnell, Rick Perry and these are only a few that are speaking out, strongly. I saw both Jindal and Perry today talking against him. With the overall female disapproval I see no way for him to win even with some cross over democrats. I have even heard some GOP members really wanting to approve Obama's selection for the court position because they feared Clinton's even more, thought would be more to the left than Garland who has been nominated and thinking they might be wrong to not approve, fearing that Clinton would be elected if Trump were nominated. Have you not heard about meetings going on to be able to stop Trump by the GOP?

Anytime you post about who is perhaps against Trump there is always some issue, as here stupid and greedy crooks. No one here ever says there could possibly be an issue with him, no always has to be the OTHER people who do not like him. I have been around for years with different elections and this is the only and first time that I have seen so many of a person's own party literally trying to take the possible nominee down. I bet others cannot think of another time when so, so many did this.
