"This collection of footage was put together by watchdog group Media Matters."
Anyone can "put together" video bits and pieces and make anyone look outrageous.
I looked at some of their so-called "research". Out of 40 of them, at least 30 were against Fox, the commentators of different programs, even the news programs.
"Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation — news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda — every day, in real time.
Using the website mediamatters.org as the principal vehicle for disseminating research and information, Media Matters posts rapid-response items as well as longer research and analytic reports documenting conservative misinformation throughout the media. Additionally, Media Matters works daily to notify activists, journalists, pundits, and the general public about instances of misinformation, providing them with the resources to rebut false claims and to take direct action against offending media institutions."
The above statements tell me that they are the height of liberalism and one site to take with a grain of salt.
As you know, Glenn Beck did research Van Jones and his outlook and what was found was definitely true. He was the first (I think) to air the tapes of ACORN and their hijinx (sp) Did this organization? I didn't see them report anything on it. Of course, I only spent a few minutes on their site.
Frankly, one-sided news does not sit well with me, no matter who is doing the reporting. I do my own research and, I won't go into it now because I've stated it before, but to fanatically target one news group is unjust to say the least.
My above statement also goes for certain posters on this board as well. Research is the answer and links to back up that research, not attacking posters. 'nuff said.
