Unfortunately, what this fool can't do is refute Beck's points on intellectual grounds.

We can make a joke out of anyone. Biden is a gift that keeps on giving in this regard, for instance. Better that we should stop laughing and start to take them seriously. If their claims are false, refute them on factual grounds...but if true, accept them whether we happen to like them or not.

I don't agree with Beck on everything by any means, but I'm not enough of a fool to dismiss him as a fool, either.

Here, the fool isn't Beck, but Stewart - and the people who foolishly laugh at his foolish material.

Besides, to place the word intellectual anywhere near Beck's name, regardless of the context, is an oxymoron of titanic proportions. I wouldn't say it was the best show he did ever. I loved his line that (as a progressive) he didn't realize that is what he was doing. HA HA HA. He's pretty funny.

However, as much as I don't like Beck, I wouldn't say that just because he made fun of Beck that made it his best show ever. Guess I'm just not into ridiculing people, but some are I guess. I think Beck is compassionate about what he does. I don't care for his delivery of material. He's too spastic for me and gives me a headache, but the information he gives is important for people to know. I just won't watch him. Will read his website and see if there is anything interesting there. But my headaches went away once I turned him off. I like his information, just wish he would present it differently (like calmly).

The JS show was pretty funny though. But then again all his shows are and know I will always laugh when I watch him.

I try to watch him on occasion, but I find myself kind of chuckling at him and the extreme jumps in "logic" that he makes, as demonstrated rather well by Jon Stewart. Beck, imo, is just irritating and blowing smoke. Can't listen to him for very long. I also find myself wondering how anyone can take him seriously. I know they do, as evidenced here.
