Slow-pitch soft ball game tonight

Fox in charge.  Lucky for me, I will be working.

;

You were right. Nothing of substance. I watched it. Very uninformative - Know nothing more than I did before watching

That one was a waste of time.

That's how I feel watching PT Barnum (you now, the old - hippie from the 60s).

The only thing more boring are the idiotic talking points from the Left.

Anyway, those who take the lead on substantial issues own and frame the debate. All others will respond to them on their terms.

Not me. I learned something. - sm

I learned that Hillary feels her greatest enemies are Republicans.

If the new locksteppers are following Hillary, no wonder the hatred is so venomous on this board.

I thought it was okay. The moderators didn't try and pit the - candidates against each other,

like the usually do and no gotcha questions. Maybe that's why Democrats think it was "soft."

The level of professionalism of the FBN moderators was by far the best yet. They kept the subject matter to the issues of substance. Well done.

Tonight we got more of the GOP's same old ideas...sm - Bernie Sanders

that would benefit the super rich while leaving working families to fend for themselves. On the eve of Veterans Day, some of the billionaires and millionaires on stage talked about cutting earned benefits to seniors and disabled veterans. While we already have the biggest military in the world, Republicans talked about spending more money and fighting more wars, yet veterans sleep out on the streets tonight.

The Republican Party cannot be allowed to lead this country. We need a political revolution.

I Need A Dry Dog Food For My Small Dog That Is Soft With Smallish Chunks.Oct 06, 2011
I haven't had her for long.  I adopted her from some redneck looking people who were trying to pass her off as a puppy in the Wal-Mart parking lot.  She just looked so sad, and I just had to take her.  She's not a puppy.  The vet said she's at least three years old.  Anyway, I bought kibble and bits and I noticed she roots around in the bowl and eats all the chewy bits.  She will eventually eat the kibble, but it seems like it is too big and too ...

Obama Agency Rules Pepsi's Use Of Aborted Fetal Cells In Soft Drinks - Business As UsualMay 08, 2012
I heard about the story of smuggled capsules of human flesh made in you know where.  As if finding out they eat eggs cooked in urine of small boys was not enough to make me gag.  So, then found that Pepsi uses fetal cells as a flavor enhancer (at least that's my understanding of the article - could be wrong of course).  Then I read that Obama's administration said it's okay to use aborted fetus in Pepsi.  Again, maybe I read that wrong.  Either way, never ...

Sore Ball Of FootSep 28, 2012
The foot I use on the foot pedal is slightly swollen and the ball of the foot is so sore I'm limping. It helps to wear shoes with padding. I do have periphera neuropathy from spinal stenosis which I think causes me to hold my toes in a different position because I can't feel the floor with the front part of my foot. The big toe curls to try to feel the floor. Not sure if this is the cause or what this is. Anyone else have this? ...

Has Anyone Ever Baked A Cake In The Slow Cooker?Dec 11, 2015
Our oven is broke and I don't have a toaster oven.  The only thing I have is a slow cooker, foreman grill and waffle maker (the latter two of course will not work). LOL I am so craving some chocolate cake and I just found a recipe for mocha oatmeal cake, or brownies, cobbler or whatever. I've made cornbread in the slow cooker and it came out really good, but what about regular cakes?  Has anyone ever done one and if so do you know how long you would cook it for.  There ...

Question Regarding A Slow Cooker Recipe I FoundDec 06, 2012
I found a recipe I'm going to post below, but I have a question on substuting something for something else.  It's Braised chicken with potatoes.  Looks yummy.  The recipe calls for frozen artichoke hearts (which I love artichokes), but as I was looking at it thought cabbage would taste good with it instead.  But it slow cooks for 2 hours.  Do you think that cabbage would go mushy?  I have not used my slow cooker in probably 5 years now, but I want to start ...

Play Ball Sen. Nelson Or Else! Who's Living In The White House, Al Capone?Dec 16, 2009
"According to a Senate aide, the White House is now threatening to put Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base on the BRAC list if Nelson doesn’t fall into line. Offutt Air Force Base employs some 10,000 military and federal employees in Southeastern Nebraska. As our source put it, this is a “naked effort by Rahm Emanuel and the White House to extort Nelson’s vote.” They are “threatening to close a base vital to national security for what?” asked the Senate ...
