Two South Carolina GOP chairmen declared in a letter to a local newspaper that criticism of Senator Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) is unfair because he is like a "Jew" who is "watching our nation's pennies."

The letter, published by South Carolina newspaper The Times and Democrat, was authored by James S. Ulmer Jr., who chairs the Orangeburg County GOP, and Edwin O. Merwin Jr., who chairs the Bamberg County GOP.

and it is not exactly tit for tat...Beck can say whatever he wants, but he has done nothing directly to harm anyone. Frank has. He has a great share of the responsibility for the tanked economy. Yet some folks here who are supposedly concerned about the country seem to have made their mission in life (including the White House it would seem) to destroy Glenn Beck, yet completely excuse/ignore someone who has done GREAT damage. In fact, most of the Dems in Congress still laud Mr. Frank. People say stupid things. I am outraged at the willfull attempt by this administration to stifle free speech. No one else seems to be. Truly, NJ, in all dead seriousness...this does not concern you?An administration publically going after a news outlet? Just because that outlet does not agree with them? It really does NOT?
