That is not likely to happen, but I think it's a good thing that we finally have someone who will speak the truth and say the things that everyone else is too afraid to say! Kudos to The Donald!!

It's a fallacy to assume all the Perot voters would have voted for Bush, particularly when exit polling showed that Perot voters subtracted from Clinton voters.

The polling at the time was showing Clinton a heavy favorite until Perot got back in the race after dropping out. Bush was typically polling around 36% to 38% and Clinton around 53% to 55% with the remainder undecided at that time. When Perot came back into the race, Clinton's polling fell to around 41%, while Bush's polling remained around the same at 38%. Perot gave Bush a chance and kept it a closer race in the polls.

Though the GOP conveniently blamed Perot after the election and had initially tried to downplay his campaign before he dropped out, the Bush campaign wanted him back in to erode Clinton's support, which is exactly what Perot did.

From the LA Times, 09/1992: "In fact, one senior Bush adviser suggested that a Perot candidacy could help the President reverse his sagging political fortunes. As a result, the adviser said, some of Bush's top aides are secretly hoping that Perot will rejoin the campaign." (see link)

The final election numbers reflected the polls:

Clinton - 43.0%
Bush - 37.5%
Perot - 18.9%

Perot's candidacy didn't pull more votes from Bush in 1992, it mainly pulled them from Clinton while Bush's support remained steady. True fact.

The following election in 1996 was a similar outcome:

Clinton - 49.2%
Dole - 40.7%
Perot - 8.4%

A lot of people forget that Perot ran in 1996, but they don't say Perot cost Dole the election since it really was never close.

Let go of that myth that Perot cost Bush the '92 election since the fact is that Perot cost Clinton votes and not the other way around. Truth.

Yes, folks. It was actually the GOP who invented socialized medicine. EMTALA applies to everyone regardless of race, creed, color, nationality etc. It requires that anyone who is in an emergency situation be stabilized by the hospital. In no way does it require any treatment beyond stabilizing an individual who is having a medical emergency. EMTALA is also used to protect Americans. If we do away with EMTALA, people with no healthcare can be turned away; remember the dude from Africa who had Ebola? Right.

Be careful what you wish for. A lot of the things we pay for on one end saves us money on the other end.... Just saying.

The number of illegals hit its peak in this country in 2007, BEFORE OBAMA, not what you've been led to believe, so how could anyone blame Obama's failures on Ronald Reagan when the number of illegals reached their peak in the Bush Administration and are now less and basically holding steady during the Obama Administration? I've watch both conventions and the thing that fascinates me (and disturbs me at the same time) is the adoration on the faces of the crowd when the camera pans the audience....
