elected in the first place. A community organizer with no experience running anything or ever making a payroll. Oh, they realized. White guilt and all the rest of it. Give the guy a chance. Well, we did. He sucked.
It was a joke, LM. :) - We got the man we voted for. nm

Maybe I'll sleep when it's all over.

Has it occurred to you they probably - standing in line at the polls,

casting their votes early and too busy running the get-the-vote-out ground game instead? Have you dared to read THOSE numbers?

Obama routinely 10,000 to 30,000, Mitts highest 12,000 - Hint

30 thousand is MORE than 12 thousand. Don't let those thousands and zeros fool ya.

How many of them are union workers or others that are bused in that are paid to be there? - JC

I know in 2008 NY State unions bussed union workers into other states to campaign for Obama.

How many are "Mandated" by corporate bosses for Romney events? - sm

Oh my. I recall bus loads of paid Tea Partiers riding around. Was Rove driving the bus? You do not want to go there, I think.
Tea partiers are there on their own accord and are not paid - JC
[ In Reply To ..]
There were plenty of stories about paid union workers but I have not heard about paid teapartiers.
Chartering buses for political events is a objectionable - exactly how?
[ In Reply To ..]
I've been bused and FLOWN for free on NINE different occasions to DC for protests. Had the groups I was supporting not paid for my transport and overnight housing, I could not have attended, being a single parent who was taking unpaid time off to be there. I can assure you my attendance was entirely voluntary, and my support for their cause could not have been more avid. This repeated union busing schtick the wingers obsess over is one of their more ridiculous nonissues, but does help to show how out of touch with reality they are.
Because I am forced to belong to union and I didn't get to vote what my union dues are used for - JC
[ In Reply To ..]
That's why.

In addition, protesting is different than one states residents affecting the voting in another state.

I am against that, yes.
JC, the Hunt brothers fund the Tea Party. You think they're going - to just hope people decide to show up? nm

The Adoration Of The Crowds....Sep 06, 2012
I've watch both conventions and the thing that fascinates me (and disturbs me at the same time) is the adoration on the faces of the crowd when the camera pans the audience.... You (in the royal sense) KNOW that the candidates are up there lying, but the audiences eat it up like candy.  It reminds me of a church revival meeting. I wonder if they bother to do any of their own research. Scary stuff. ...

Has Anyone Watched Coverage Of Crowds Outside The Courtroom? Jul 05, 2011
My family called me not understanding how a mother not report a child missing for 31 days and no criminal charges were made.  I keep hearing from commentators saying the justice system worked.  I want to know how the justice system worked, freeing an obviously guilty person to continue her life as if her daughter was not murdered.  Just heard on the news the Anthony family is being threatened.  Can you imagine what happens to Casey once she is free as far as threats on ...

Bernie Sanders Draws Largest Crowds--didn'tAug 17, 2015
Over the weekend, when both men stumped across Iowa, rampant controversy raged across websites about their respective audiences. Trump insisted his crowds at the State Fair were the largest for any candidate. Sanders' supporters upheld their claim to the same distinction. More objective observers tended to side with Sanders, while also noting that Trump's throngs were at least partially drawn to his helicopter, in which he gave rides to children, among others. http://www.npr.org/s ...
