Had the groups I was supporting not paid for my transport and overnight housing, I could not have attended, being a single parent who was taking unpaid time off to be there. I can assure you my attendance was entirely voluntary, and my support for their cause could not have been more avid. This repeated union busing schtick the wingers obsess over is one of their more ridiculous nonissues, but does help to show how out of touch with reality they are.
