has tried at some point to suppress the first amendment in this country. As long as it's an exceedingly small percentage of the populace it is little threat. Muslims want to ban people from saying mean things about Muhammed. Christians want to ban people from saying mean things about Jesus. We all have our something we don't want to hear other people say. Considering that God was around for the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Dark Ages, the Holocaust and Pauly Shore movies, I doubt He's so easily offended as people seem to think he is.

I once lived in a county that banned the Fox TV station during the 80's because programs like the Simpsons were "destroying the fabric of the American family and our good values."

I do understand their gut reaction to this crisis. Not spreading hate and violence is always good. Free speech is a double edged sword. It isn't free if you can't say what you believe, yet sometimes not knowing when to keep your trap shut is an easy way to get a bloody nose.

So, let this new group get it out of their systems. When the rest of us don't pay attention, they will give up. I wish the same could be said for the groups overseas actually causing this violence. I've seen a lot of offensive YouTube videos, but thus far none so bad I set anything on fire.
