...Carter's unfavorable rating shot up just before the election and the "anti-establishment candidate" (Reagan) won in a landslide. Like now, the polls had been very close up until a few days before the election. ABC is reporting that Clinton's unfavorable rating shot up to new levels in the last 3 days, and to complete the analogy, Trump is obviously the anti-establishment candidate in this election. It's speculation, of course, but like Doug Schoen (the Democrat pollster and staunch Hillary supporter who abandoned her last night on Fox), he's a straight shooter with a lot of experience watching the political landscape. ;
