This is a very peculiar sort of "patriotism," dishonorable, dishonest, unworthy. The article you read this in is the Washington Times, a conservative publication with a very bad reputation. Googling this subject brings up many hits on very unsavory websites.

BTW, you should know, it's easily verified, that whoever did leak this, it was not Vice President Biden--as the smear would have it. Seal Team 6's involvement was broken in various media, including major newspapers, THE DAY BEFORE Biden spoke about it.

Given your concern, you should be glad that Obama is coming down so hard on leakers who compromise national security. Some who've been doing it for years safely are finally facing the real possibility of prison, and hopefully this one, or these ones too.

For 8 years the previous Republican administration didn't bother to bring Bin Laden to justice.

From the day President Obama assumed office, though, he made getting Bin Laden a priority, waited for the right time to order in Seal Team 6, and then sat for hours with top officials listening to secure transmissions from the guys on the ground--until Bin Laden was dead and they got away safely.

Almost TEN years after 9/11, mission finally completed. By the Obama administration.

All this lying has ever accomplished, by the way, is to the disgust 90% of the populace who don't indulge.

as if they don't matter? There are too many questions to just sweep this under the rug, too, like all the other things going on:
1. Why didn't they get the black box since they got the bodies of the dead????
2. Why did they cremate the bodies?
3. Why was there a change in the Afghan soldiers, which was totally against protocol because of the secrecy of the Seal Team missions??

are justified in being angry at the possibility of this leak contributing to their sons' deaths, but NO ONE is excused from deliberately spreading lies about others. This is called bearing false witness, also libel and slander.

If you value the truth at all, you might wonder who really DID leak Seal Team 6's involvement. Pursuit of this particular slander betrays the liars' true agenda--to exploit these men's deaths for political advantage. Bringing the real leaker(s) to justice would derail the plan.

He started thinking about the military a few months back. He went to a recruiter yesterday. He made a 92 on the practice ASVAB (highest is 99) so he's good to go there. He does have to lose about 25 pounds so that is the reason for the delay. I am behind him 100% and proud of him for at least trying to turn his life around.
