National Review Online being sued for defamation

NRO being sued by climate scientist, Michael Mann.
"Mann has been the target of numerous investigations into his work and has been cleared of any wrongdoing every time. Since some of these investigations were prompted by NRO [National Review Online] and CEI [Competitive Enterprise Institute], they had to know he was cleared of academic fraud, yet they continued to accuse him of it. Oops."
"Unsurprisingly, both the NRO and CEI were unhappy with this and tried to block the lawsuit using SLAPP laws—rules used to stop lawsuits that try to censor criticism. However, a District of Columbia Superior Court judge has ruled that SLAPP doesn’t apply. Mann’s lawsuit can move forward."

There are so many articles on this suit stating that he doesn’t have much of a chance, but it doesn’t help that he even lied or should we say stretched the truth?) in his complaint. Note the STATEMENT OF FACTS #17, he still states he shared the Nobel Peace Prize with other IPCC authors (which is the last link I posted).
He had claimed to win the Nobel Peace Prize, which he then changed to he received a "certificate for his contributions," but Only persons named explicitly in the citation may claim to share a Nobel Prize.
"Geir Lundestad, Director, Professor, of The Norwegian Nobel Institute emailed me back with the following:
1) Michael Mann has never been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
2) He did not receive any personal certificate. He has taken the diploma awarded in 2007 to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (and to Al Gore) and made his own text underneath this authentic-looking diploma.
3) The text underneath the diploma is entirely his own. We issued only the diploma to the IPCC as such. No individuals on the IPCC side received anything in 2007."

He was under investigation by the Virginia attorney general's office when he was employed there for his use of government grant money.

He didn’t like being associated with Sandusky at Penn State but he was under investigation there and many analysts agree there are obvious similarities in the way Penn State University handled their internal separate investigations into Mann and Sandusky because it was done by Spanier, who had to resign for not investigating the Sandusky scandal right.

National Review: "Why The Tea Party's Waning, Not Winning"May 20, 2015I do wish more Tea Partiers had stuck to Ron Paul's ideology and temperament. Even the conservative National Review says they haven't stayed true to the cause, the insinuation being they are hypocrits.

Getting SuedMar 05, 2013DAKOTA DUNES, South Dakota (Reuters) - A year ago, Beef Products Inc. had four state-of-the art plants, more than 1,300 employees and was expanding aggressively.
The meat company was the leading maker of "lean finely textured beef," a low-fat product made from chunks of beef, including trimmings, and exposed to tiny bursts of ammonium hydroxide to kill E. coli and other dangerous contaminants. Few Americans realized the product was a mainstay of fast-food burgers, school lunch tacos and home ...

Did Anyone See The New Article About The Pregnant Teen Who Sued Her Parents?Feb 19, 2013So, 16-year-old girl gets pregnant by her 16-year-old boyfriend. Her parents were trying to force her to have an abortion. She refused, so they took away her car, refused to support her and she had to work two jobs (for punishment, according to her). She went to a local law practice, who represented her, pro bono, and she won her case. The judge ordered that her parents have no say over what she does for the entirety of her pregnancy.
