Muslims ??

Posted: Feb 25, 2012

Its surprising to me to see so many of these threads devoted to Islam when our real enemies are the fat cats in our own government and financial institions and the corporations who have taken their factories OS and who use OS workforces to cut us out of the picture except as the consumers.  The threat from radical Islam is small and inconsequential in comparison to what has been done to us on a secular level and we are deluding ourselves, and I believe, being fooled into focusing on a small, minute group of indivduals who pose little to no threat to our miserable economy and day-to-day dealings and lives.  They are an easy and perfect target to take the heat of those who really have ruined our way of life and its very seductive to grab it that notion hook, line and sinker, perhaps in part because its  a way to excuse ourselves for having been fooled, lied to, cheated upon and 'taken" by our own.    Maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe our biggest enemy is radical Islam, but as I see so many of my dear friends and beloved famly struggling to keep a roof over their head and to try to hold on any small, thin thread of the American dream that is left them, my anger and fear is not directed towards muslims, not even the radical or downright crazy ones.  I think of our own, who we trusted so, who brought us to this mess.   You may disagree and I respect that.  I actually think it would be easier, almost better, if they were our biggest enemy.  That enemy would probably be easier to conquer and eradicate than greed.

This is what politicians do when they have no answers to our real problems - try to distract the voters with hot button issues like abortion, Muslims, birth control, etc.

Muslims ?Just IMO - Guess you never heard of 911

and subsequent, brutal plots to kill as many Americans as possible, whenever possible. Although much in your post I agree with and I think it was a great post, I have to say that people that do not understand what the radical Muslims are doing and HOW, tend to be very dismissive of the danger posed. The threat is neither "small, nor inconsequential".

There have been lengthy, multiple, ongoing threads on this board about the other sources you cited that caused so many problems for so many (governemnt, greed, etc.). Personally, I think there is room for both threads and both need a lot of exposure. Sunlight is disinfecting. If one person is guided to open their eyes and research any subject to enlighten themselves, then the thread of that subject was well worth it.

There is a TON of evidence that Muslims DID NOT pull off 09/11.

Ever hear about the airline stock put options that were exercised, yielding those holders MILLIONS? The SEC refuses to release their identities.

Investigate the temps required to melt steel and the temp of jet fuel (not even close!).

Listen to the MULTIPLE salient points raised by Firefighters for 09/11 Truth, Pilots for 09/11 Truth, Scholars for 09/11 Truth, and Engineers and Architects for 09/11 Truth. They are THOUSANDS of polished profesionals who are well versed in their respective fields, and they express SERIOUS doubts that 09/11 went down the way that we were told it was. (Engineers in Europe and Asia were pointing out flaws in the official version as early as 09/12/2001.)

Of course, in order to look into the above you would have to open your eyes and research it to enlighten yourselves.

Darlin' you need more than - sunlight!!

I am not dismissive. I am entitled to my opinion just as are you and everyone else here. I hope you can open yourself up to the idea that condescending remarks probably wont change anyone's mind nor make you sound like you know more than someone who does not share your opinions. I respect your opinion, even though I dont happen to agree with it.

IMO - Post neither condescending

Muslims And Gays In The MilitaryFeb 03, 2010
OK, somebody has to say it. It’s uncomfortable and it makes whoever says it open to being called a “Pharisee,” a “homophobe,” a “bigot,” a sanctimonious hater, a benighted troglodyte, or worse. Somebody has to endure that, though. We need to act like grown up, secure people who can talk about difficult things and resolve them. So, to quote one of my favorites, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, “Call me a relic, call me what you will. Say I&rsq ...

The Bizarre Notion That Muslims Must Become A MajorityJul 16, 2016
Someone posted an (incorrect) analysis regarding the theoretical increase in the Muslim population in America.  It failed to take a number of factors into account and was slanted in a painfully obvious way toward her position, but that's not what I'm discussing here. I think, sometimes, that the most treasonous failure of the American educational system is that it manages to spit out "graduates" (even from college) who haven't the faintest notion not only of how to think or ...

Obama: Europe Should Better Integrate Muslims.Jan 16, 2015
These communities distinctly do NOT WANT to be integrated.  They want to set up mini-states - or, literally, mini-caliphates - within the host countries, where Sharia law prevails, where the imams rule, where they literally have their own "police force", where the language of the host country is not spoken, and where citizens and even emergency services of the host country are not welcome to enter.  There are literally hundreds of these mini-states now in Europe, and integration - exce ...

Trump Is Right: Muslims In Jersey City And Elsewhere DidMar 03, 2016
I saw it on the news more than once, and many saw it in person - in Jersey City, Patterson, Brooklyn and elsewhere. They have reported these sightings. Even the Washington Post reported it (for some reason, a week later on 09/18), saying this: "In Jersey City, within hours of two jetliners’ plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on roo ...

Carson On Muslims Politically Expedient?Sep 20, 2015
sort of the way of some other documents...they pick and choose. Constitution doesn't work that way, particularly when running for POTUS. Now, this probably won't matter much, considering the audience he is playing to. In his NBC interview, Carson was asked: “So do you believe that Islam is consistent with the constitution?” “No,” he said, “I don’t, I do not.” Article VI of the US constitution states: “No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualific ...

It's time to finally grasp the truth about Islam, which is that in terms of the end-goal of establishing a world-wide caliphate, there is no disagreement between "radical Muslims" and so-called "peaceful" or "moderate" Muslims.  Around 75% of Muslims worldwide believe in and yearn for a worldwide caliphate. Albeit it is a small margin (51% prefer Shariah law over the US Constitution), it is something to seriously consider and think about. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and should not be changed to conform with Muslims. P.S. I am about as liberal as one can get. ...
