Nasty hit piece from Pravda.ru..what a surprise from a Marxist paper.

Pravda.ru - Pravda (Russian: ÐÑавда, "Truth", pronunciation (help·info)) was a leading newspaper of the Soviet Union and an official organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party between 1912 and 1991.

The Pravda newspaper was started in 1912 in St. Petersburg. It was converted from a weekly Zvezda. It did not arrive in Moscow until 1918. During the Cold War, Pravda was well known in the West for its pronouncements as the official voice of Soviet Communism. (Similarly Izvestia was the official voice of the Soviet government.)

After the paper was closed down in 1991 by decree of then-President Boris Yeltsin, many of the staff founded a new paper with the same name, which is now a tabloid-style Russian news source. There is an unaffiliated Internet-based newspaper, Pravda Online run by former Pravda newspaper employees.

Marxist or not....what a nasty, insulting piece of....marxist journalism.

You should hear what they say about Obama - sm

Let's see -

"Obama is a Marxist - the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed."

Via Pravda; - No evidence of Hawaiian birth for AKA Obama. What about Kenya? -

You really want to go down that road?

Got links? - Would

like to read it from the american/ru translation like the op article, but can find nothing.

Thanks

Here are a couple articles. Pravda has zero appreciation for Obama.

This link below is especially enlightening. One statement says:

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

Opinions?
Oh thank you. - Interesting

not quite as bad a bashing as SP got, but unless they've changed their minds since these articles, one certainly contradicts the other. Ah well, I'm not really a fan of either one, but my opinion certainly hasn't ever gone....there.

I do think the PETA poster floating around that shows SP clubbing the halibut is kinda funny though. It says PETA = Palin Euthanizing Tasty Animals. I know.... sheesh.
I don't really read Pravda - sm

Every once in awhile I will glance an article they write about an issue going on, but when they post about certain people I just don't get into it. What it boils down to is it's somebody's opinion. I do know that the one is not too fondly thought of in other countries, but glad to see if they bash one person they bash another. At least they are consistent. LOL

Marxist's don't like "the Marxist?" Interesting.
Because he is not enough of a Marxist to suit them... - sam
[ In Reply To ..]
he is, in their estimation, "caving." That is what the article is saying. I saw an article on Pravda about George Soros, and he said if Obama couldn't get the job done "they" would find someone who could.

What is interesting is who are "they?"

Obama may not run for a second term, and my bet is he won't if Soros doesn't want him to. That is why the hard left is beating him up now...if you look at the far left sites you see them accuse him of caving already. Next thing you know, they will be calling him a DINO too.

Where does the article say - that?

I was answering the question why don't the Marxists... - sam
[ In Reply To ..]
don't like the Marxist. The post at the top regarding George Soros saying Obama needs to go or words to that effect shows that Obama is not far enough left to suit the hard core Marxists. I am assuming that the poster I answered saw something on Pravda that said the same thing basically as Soros.
Your reply was misleading. - It
[ In Reply To ..]
said "that is what the article says." The article is from Ru. Nothing to do with an article regarding Soros, which, by the way, had not even been posted.
sorry it was misleading. The basic fact remains.... - sam
[ In Reply To ..]
The hard core Marxists don't think Obama is far enough left for them and that in and of itself is pretty scary. He wants to lead the US into socialism but apparently not fast enough for Mr. Soros.

And as the age-old comment goes...Money talks, and Soros has a boatload.

Again, sorry that you found it misleading. It was not my intent to mislead you.
Seems you are putting your own spin - on this Soros
[ In Reply To ..]
thing. Rather than "enough of a socialist" maybe..."not a socialist." So I guess you would need to prove it. Whipping that dead horse though may be a waste of time.
Well....when Soros says if he can't do it for us... - sam
[ In Reply To ..]
we will find someone who can...and Huffpost actually ran the article as well (yes, the far left Huffpost) ... and you want to believe that George Soros, Marxist, would have financially supported the campaign of a man who did not share his beliefs (not spin, fact), fine. All that tells me is that perhaps you embrace the socialist agenda as well, which is fine if you want to. However, I will oppose it in every way possible because I don't think it is right for America.

I guess you missed the "spread the wealth around" comment he made during his campaign. That he, in his book, named his mentor who was a communist...that he used the Saul Alinsky method of community organizing and was so good at it Alinsky's son congratulated him on how well he understood what his father was trying to accomplish...google Saul Alinsky some time. Big-time Marxist.

But, you have to look at ALL that evidence seeking the truth...and you do not seem willing to do that. I did, because the fate of my country is very important to me. Socialist governments do not work...Nazi Germany started out socialist, ended in dictatorship; Cuba started socialist, ended in communist dictatorship; Venezuela started socialist, and recently Chavez had the law changed so he can remain President forever...dictatorship. No middle class in any of those countries, on the government and their elite backers, and the worker bees. If that looks good to you, so be it. It doesn't look good to me.

So...we will agree to disagree and not take up board space going back and forth with you saying prove it when all of the above does not convince you.

Have a good one!
Okay, it's your - assumption

That's fine, but stating it as fact when it isn't proven; of course, should not be done.
Probably about the same that 9 out of 10 anarchists - say Republicans are not far right enough

McKinney Texas -- And Pretty Much Jun 09, 2015
If you haven't followed, the attached is an interview of the boy who shot the fairly famous video showing the actions in McKinney, Texas. McKinney, Texas needs to distance itself from this officer, fire him and admonish his actions as unacceptable. We see this type of psychology everywhere. Black teens are more severely punished in school for the same infractions as white children. Blacks are followed in stores more often than whites. There is a whole culture of suspicion and a ...

Do NOT bake an apple pie in a convention oven.  LOL  The top crust never browned even though I baked it for 50 minutes. I wound up putting it under the broiler for 3-4 minutes, watching carefully that it didn't burn. Other than that, it was pretty good and I'm proud as it was the first time in 20 years I baked any pie since my oven burns everything on the bottom (that's why I never baked in all those years). Otherwise, things went quite well for us. Everything was ...

Krugman: âIâm Pretty Close To Giving Up On ObamaâJan 22, 2010
By Raw StoryThursday, January 21st, 2010 -- 8:47 am "Health care reform — which is crucial for millions of Americans — hangs in the balance," NYT columnist Paul Krugman opined Thursday. "Progressives are desperately in need of leadership; more specifically, House Democrats need to be told to pass the Senate bill, which isn’t what they wanted but is vastly better than nothing. And what we get from the great progressive hope, the man who was offering hope and change, is this: ...
