Please stick to issues and do not make this board personal. This is a place for people to discuss politics. Do not harrass other posters for posting their opinions regardless of whether or not you agree. If you quote a poster, please make sure you are quoting the correct poster. Do not state quotes that posters said if they did not say it. Do not stalk other posters and harrass them. This is not a place for that behavior.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

You have a few real troublemakers on this board who are especially nasty, and you are catering to them. Whether it's done on purpose, I really don't care. The rest of us have tried to follow the rules on the stickies (which - according to you below - we don't have to follow) and have patiently waited for them to go away as the stickies suggest. No such luck.

Therefore, I'm out. Done. Not coming back to this site (I'll probably be banned anyway for this post even though below you state that we're free to express our opinions). If I wanted to engage in political discussion, a playground may be better suited than engaging some on here.

It looks like the moderator is trying to weed out the really nasty ones who all they are doing is insulting. One poster in particular is stalking another one stating she said things she didn't. Why don't I see her gone. I see message being deleted and personal insults being deleted. If its on your side then that says a lot about the people on your side. I'm sure she doesn't spend every minute of the day here. Give her a break.

I also find it funny that the people who always throw out the slings are the one to cry victim. And they always think they are threatening by stating they'll never come back to this board. I say if they want to go then go. They are not interested in having a decent and adult conversation, they just want to throw insults and if anyone replies they want them gone.

There are a few on here that just cannot post anything without throwing in the insults, name calling, and then stalking anyone not agreeing with them (just look at what was posted in regards to any of my posts by, most probably, the same 1 or 2). They have driven some very intelligent people away that posted great information on this board; only to replace it with very childish, rude comments with no contribution to the thread. If posters stating they are leaving is supposed to be a threat...I will celebrate their departure; cannot be soon enough. Maybe when only growns-ups are left on this board that can converse without the name calling and insults, we can actually learn from each other. I am looking forward to the politics board being separated from the playground and actual thoughtful, intelligent discourse beginning. Thank you for diligently monitoring this board and getting rid of the trouble makers with no apparent real interest in politics.

Put yourself in moderator's shoes. It must be a difficult task to differentiate between a rude and expressive post. You know it's politics....

Then we would know to whom we are directing our answers. I'd like to know if it's the same person with different names posting some of these vicious and uninformed comments or one person with many names.

on the board, I was viciously attacked by right-wing posters. I doubt that they even read my posts. They knew that I didn't walk lockstep in their footsteps, and the personal attacks always came, without fail.

That's my reason for not having a moniker. Maybe, at least, they might read the posts now.
