I have had "bosses" cutting my wages and lettiing me "purchase" health insurance plans that basically don't pay for anything I need, all the while they outsource the work and give themselves bonuses for being so profitable.
So, now Romney is telling "the bosses" that it is okay and not illegal to tell your employees how to vote. A couple of the richest Republican contributors, the Koch Brothers, sent their employees a list of people to vote for, or else they could "suffer the consequences." Really, I don't want the bosses that have outsourced my work to tell me how to vote. It may be legal, but it sure is unethical.
Romney has not stated that he supports the Blunt Amendment, iin fact, he goes to great pains not to address this question. The Blunt amendment allows your employer (public or private) to approve or disapprove contraception under your health insurance policy. Sure, you can always purchase this outside of all your other many expenses privately. Really, I don't want the boss that has cut may wages to have the power to decide if my health insurance will pay for contraception.
Romney does not approve of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Why should I not be paid the same as a man doing the same job? Really, how can you be against that? Why would you be against that?
I am pretty darn happy with the government regulating the stock market, ensuring safe water and food (I believe we need more enforcement). I like safe roads and bridges. I want kids to go to school. I want everyone to have a fair shake in life. I am one of "those people" in the 47%.
