The overlords who tell their liberal minions what to believe (which is far less difficult than it would be, save for the public education system) want them to think that conservatives don't want people to have healthcare.
This, of course, is such utter nonsense that you'd think the minions would be able to spot the obvious flaws in such propaganda right from the git-go, but (again, thanks to the public education system) it seems that even such simple rationation is beyond their capabilities.
I really do feel sorry for people who never learned how to THINK RATIONALLY and who, instead, spend their time spreading propaganda while imagining this to be a form of logical argumentation.
If you're repeating stuff that you haven't personally critically analyzed (and you KNOW who you are), the chances are more than excellent that you're just vomiting back up a bunch of crap that you swallowed while you were drunk at some political orgy.
Let's just take one question that exposes the liberal fallacy: Why in the world would ANY conservative capitalist - regardless of how utterly self-interested they may be - prefer to have a sickly labor force, with the enormous attendant costs of sick time and absences, rather than employees who show up every day, healthy, ready and able to work and thereby to make profits for the capitalist?
The answer is obvious, and there isn't a liberal in the world who can rebut that single, simple question. Regard conservatives in the most crass light you can fire up, and you still don't have an answer.
Of course, the reality is that conservatives are hardly so crass and whether liberals like to think so or not, most conservatives do care about the welfare of their fellow human beings...but let's not get into that for fear of exploding some liberal brains.
So, my first question is, when are the liberal minions finally going to rise up against the garbage that your liberal overlords are serving up as filet mignon? It's okay to be liberal (I'm liberal on some things) or conservative, but all of us should at the very least demand truthfulness.
My second question is, having shown that everyone has an interest in a healthy population, how can we come together to achieve this? The private carrier system worked well for some, but not for others. Obamacare is an obvious disaster, with even more people losing coverage and now, we find, healthcare costs rising even faster than under the private system.
Incidentally, one other thing: I do not believe that America should allow itself to be the healthcare "brain-drain" of the world. We have lots of people practicing medicine here who SHOULD be practicing medicine in their own countries and making those populations healthier. It's not in our interest whatsoever to bring them here to practice medicine when every year we turn down thousands of perfectly qualified premedical students on the basis that "we only have so many positions in our medical schools".
Build more prisons if necessary, and build more medical schools, and leave the Indian, Arabic, Filipino, Egyptian and other doctors at home to care for their OWN POPULATIONS. THIS IS WHAT IS IN OUR LONG-TERM INTEREST!!
Single-payer (government) - uh, I think we already have lots of evidence about that. For-profit insurance companies, ditto.
There must be a third way if we can just come together - liberals and conservatives - and find it, but one thing's for sure. We will never do so while liberal minions continue to endorse the absurd notion that conservatives don't want the population to be healthy.
