This is completely and utterly disgusting. I thought what was on DailyKos was bad, but that was child's play compared to this.

At the bottom of the article is the link to the You Tube posting with all the hate speech, disgusting language what REAL violent rhetoric looks like.

Now does anyone wonder why I liken them to Nazis? Just add "Jew" in the place of Palin's name or references to the right and you tell ME what it sounds like. If you wanted to do a video on hate speech, this one fits the bill.

As a Jewish woman, I take offense to the constant references to the Nazis and Jews in any context other than discussing the actual Holocaust. I can't tell you what or what not to say, but I can tell you that I find these references disgusting and offensive.

of an entire section of people that an entire country looked the other way (or were in favor of) the atrocities that took place under the Nazi regime. That blame any entire group of people wholesale en masse because they do not agree with your political ideology is dangerous and destructive, and I would not want people who act in that manner (as the far left did in this recent shooting situation) in power in government. People can be led to accept many things when they are led to hate and mistrust other people.

Case in point...Japanese Americans in camps during WW II. Horrible things committed against black Americans in America's past.

Hatred and mistrust are horrible things, and when entire groups are targeted for political ideology, race...whatever....it is the PRACTICE that needs to stop.

That is why I liken the behavior to Nazis...it went way past political discourse. Way past. And in my opinion, Nazis should be mentioned OFTEN so that nothing like that EVER happens again.

Do you think the rank and file German people ever thought THEIR government would be interested in racial cleansing? Do you think when the Nazis first started their campaign against the Jewish people, gypsies, anyone they considered "inferior" they right out of the box talked about racial cleansing??

It start slow and insidious and getting people to start to blame an entire other segment of people for all the ills in a country (and please don't tell me that is not happening in this country) that lays the groundwork for power hungry wingnuts to take that mindset nationwide. I do not want that mindset running this country.

Why do you think Nazi should never be mentioned? You think people should forget that ever happened? That it CAN happen with power in the wrong hands?

Why do you protest the use of the word Nazi so much? What would you call the behavior of people trying to incite their side of the political spectrum to hate the other side to the point of something like that video that was posted? What would you call the rush to judgment on the part of the left in this shooting that just happened, up to and including sitting people in our Congress right now and a sheriff?? People in our government right now today. If they want to act in a way that I liken to Nazism in its infancy, then I will use the word. It is still a free country...so far. When I see a party turn on its OWN members calling them sellouts and other names for not toeing the "party" line, yes, that gives me cause for concern. When those people in the government want to use this situation to start taking away my rights...yes, that gives me cause for concern.

WhatEVER you call the behavior, it is vile and ugly, and that mindset is not one I like to see in power.

I think many of those tweets were made in a moment of despair and frustration of the shooting and crosshairs map. I bet many are ashamed of their reactions now and wish they had never tweeted. I bet Palin wishes she had never left that crosshair map up. A moment of insanity lives on. We need to start forgiving.

that level of hatred (and racism...I think white B-word was used) does not happen overnight and it doesn't happen because of "crosshairs" on a map. The far left had a hate-on for Sarah Palin long before any map or any shooting. And the rush to judgment in this case was mind boggling.

These tweets were so hate-filled (the laughing, rah rahing each other was particularly disgusting). However, if they ARE ashamed and wish they had not tweeted, they could tweet apologies to Sarah Palin. I cannot even imagine what it was like for her children, seeing that level of vitriolic hatred and death wishes and threats to their mother.

Common decency seems to have vanished.

Still, the left brings up the crosshairs (not saying you particularly) when the Dems had a similar map with a bull's eye target on it. If a Republican had been shot, what would these tweeters' reactions have been? What if Palin herself had been shot?

Sounds like this lot would be dancing in the streets. That should be disturbing to anyone, no matter what their political bent.
