Why are the Russian threats of nuclear war receiving so little

It might be that Putin is bluffing, of course, but if so it would seem very foolish on his part if he had to back down - and I don't think he'd paint himself into that kind of a corner. He's not a fool. Even so, it still shouldn't be a back-page story IMHO, because this goes along with the polls showing that the Russian populace has been "educated" by their government to believe that the United States is their greatest enemy. We haven't had this kind of overt threat from Russia since the Cuban Missile Crisis.;
Because the MSM would rather focus on tabloid - stuff rather than real issues.
