it didn't work.
Referendum indeed.
LOL
Yeah and the Koch Bros et al and other disgusting - right wing PACs donated millions

To that lovely R candidate. You proud they voted in someone who is "not in favor of a liveable wage" or thinks gay people should not be able to adopt duh because her faith?
Those R's had to pull out the big guns and the big $ to win there because they had such a terrible candidate, but Georgia is Georgia, right? So really no contest there, although they are turning purple due to newcomers moving there. One can only hope.
There's no way of knowing how much they donated because of Citizens United and the secrecy of the PACs, but you can bet it's a heck of a lot more than they wanted to or thought they had to.
And that's a start.
#Resist
Resist? This is all Bernie Sanders says, resist, resist, - resist. Well, guess what,
[ In Reply To ..]
we resist the resisters!
The "resist" group has no fresh ideas so they keep people all fired up, like the shooter.
Republican were keeping the health bill secret - because

Mitch McConnell has been keeping the health care bill secret because they were afraid if people knew what was in the bill, the Pubs would lose the seats.
Gotta keep the masses ignorant, you know. What a turtle.
Bernie's a has-been - Too old, nothing new

Go live in your million-dollar mansions, Bernie, and save up a defense fund for your wife's alleged fraud.
All the media bias and violent "resist" protests - made Trump supporters get and

vote even more. So keep it up media and leftists. We are not like establishment deer in the headlights Republicans.

to set in before the ones who voted them in find out what they do to the country. We'll see what happens in 2018, though it's hard to tell if this administration or Congress will actually do anything but remove what Obama did. Trump only knows how to sign executive orders and complain that Obama signed so many executive orders.
And play golf! - After complaining
[ In Reply To ..]
about that too. Of course he thinks he is outsmarting the media by not allowing them in, but we all know what he is doing every weekend!
Liberals went down to Geogia (think Charlie Daniels song)... - Bottom Line: Ossoff did not even live
[ In Reply To ..]
in his district and neither did most of his supporters' money.
After six months of relentless bashing of Trump in the MSM, over $35 million Democratic dollars spent in a competitive district that Trump carried by less than 1.5% of the vote in 2016, The Republicans still won and even increased the margin. The Left can spin it any way they like but the people have rejected their globalist socialist nonsense however slick and deceptively it was packaged.
The Dems went down to Georgia... - they were looking for a seat to steal.
[ In Reply To ..]
They were in a bind, 'cause they were way behind. They were willing to make a deal.
When they came across this young man from the next district over and quite the schmuck. They put him up on a hickory stump, gave him 30 million bucks
The boy said, "My name's Jonny and it might be a sin, but I'll take your cash
and your dreams will crash 'cause there's no way in hell I'll win"
Charlie Daniels and his Fiddle make an appearance at Karen Handel's Victory Party!
Today's post GA6 talking points...Russians did it. - Down is up, up is down,
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump is a loser anyway, the rainy weather kept Ossoff voters away. The Russians used secret weather changing technology, it was a “moral victory” for the Democrats.
Add you own!
So much for the Trump "unpopularity" - Georgia has it right!

All that money poured into this election for the Damocrat and it didn't mean a thing. Voters are standing behind the Republicans and Trump.

Info About GeorgiaApr 28, 2013My husband and I have been living in Arizona for the last 7 years and think it's time for a change. We were thinking about Georgia-drove through it once on way to Florida many years ago and remember it as a pretty state. I wonder if anyone is from the Walton county area. We are looking for a smaller town and there seems to be some in Walton county. I would just like some information about how it is to live in that area (crime, access to shopping and medical care, etc.) We're older now ...

Georgia....... Crime Rate Apr 20, 2010In 1982, Kennesaw, Georgia passed a city gun ordinance that required heads of households to keep at least one firearm in their homes. From 1983 to 1993, armed robberies averaged a mere 1.6 annually, rapes 1.5, and murders (none with firearm ...
Who Is Going To Win Special Election In Georgia Jun 20, 2017Georgia’s Special Election Comes to a Nail-Biting Finish
By JONATHAN MARTIN and NATE COHNJUNE 20, 2017
ATLANTA — Tuesday’s runoff between Karen Handel and Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District will decide what has become the most expensive House campaign in history — and quite possibly the most consequential special election since Watergate.
Yet as high as the stakes may be, the race to fill the seat vacated by Health Secretary T ...
Georgia Republican Quits HouseMar 03, 2010Nathan Deal is stepping down from his elected position as a representative from Georgia. That will cause a special election ($$), let health care reform pass the house with one less vote, and let him avoid the ethics committee investigation into him.
He will be running for governor and is currently (I think) in 3rd place behind the other 2 republican contenders.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal (R) has a problem: rural hospitals keep closing, overwhelmed by financial troubles they can’t solve on their own. The obvious solution – accepting Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act – is the one thing Deal refuses to even consider.
There is no great mystery here as to why the rural hospitals can’t keep their doors open. These facilities have routinely covered low- ...

Under the bill, school districts would now be able, if they wanted, to allow some employees to carry a firearm under certain conditions. The bill also eliminates the fingerprinting requirement for renewing weapons carry licenses.

Food Stamp Usages Plummets In Georgia. Jun 24, 2017decrease in the number of people receiving food stamps as the improving economy lifts many recipients into new jobs and frees them from the fear of going hungry.
The number of Georgians getting food stamps has dropped by 300,000 from 1.9 million in April 2013 to 1.6 million. That decrease of 16 percent in the federally funded program saves taxpayers tens of millions of dollars monthly.
That may sound great, but it’s also fueling a passionate debate about which people should get food stamps ...
