a low-skilled job.
“The bottom line is Walmart provides associates with more opportunities for career growth and greater economic security for their families than other companies in America,” he said. “Our full and part-time workers get bonuses for store performance, access to a 401K-retirement plan, education and health benefits.”
I quit shopping in Walmart several years ago for several reasons which I won't go into.
Now people in fast food hamburger joints think they deserve $15 an hour.
Robot keeps stores stocked. This could be their - future.

Wal-Mart, the nation’s largest employer, announced Monday that 35,000 part-time employees will soon be moved to full-time status, entitling them to the full healthcare benefits that were scheduled to be denied them as a result of Wal-Mart’s efforts to avoid the requirements of Obamacare.

Oh, Boy. This Forbes Article Hit The Nail On The Head!May 17, 2014Obama's Executive Power Pen Is Already Worn Out
Much has rightly been made of President Obama’s promise to bypass Congress and act unilaterally to get things done. “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone,” he said, threatening to sign more executive orders and blast more messages from his bully pulpit.
Since then, defenders have argued that Obama has signed relatively few executive orders compared with other modern presidents. But all exec ...
H&M, Wal-Mart Destroy Unsold ClothingJan 07, 2010Amid the recession and the cold winter months, Cynthia Magnus made a shocking discovery at the H&M in Manhattan's Herald Square. It wasn't a sale on the season's hottest trends--it was garbage bags upon garbage bags of unsold merchandise, most of it slashed with razors to ensure that no one would ever wear or sell it, the New York Times reports.
"Gloves with the fingers cut off," Ms. Magnus said, reciting the inventory of ruined items. "Warm socks. Cute patent leather Mary Ja ...
Any Experienced Wal-Mart Thanksgiving Thursday Shoppers?Nov 14, 2014Has anyone done the Wal-Mart Thanksgiving Thursday sale where they say the item is One-hour guarantee? I have read online that if they don't have the product in the store that they will ship it to you before Christmas, but my question is this. If I am standing in the line at 6 p.m. and the one-hour guarantee ends at 7 then what if it is a slow person checking you out, if you are in the line, do you get the product, or if the line is super long should I just give up the quest to ...
Forbes Says Self-reliant Homesteaders Are "delusional"Aug 05, 2017It’s always interesting reading when someone smug and sanctimonious writes a clueless diatribe about another group of people being smug and sanctimonious. So when I saw that an economist for Moody’s and Forbes had written an op-ed calling self-reliant homesteaders “delusional,” I knew I’d be in for some misinformed hilarity.
The article, entitled, “Dear Homesteaders, Self-Reliance Is a Delusion” was published a couple of days ago on the Forbes website. You’ll be forewarned tha ...

IRS Doesn't Tell 1 Million Taxpayers That Illegals Stole TheirAug 31, 2016The IRS has discovered more than 1 million Americans whose Social Security numbers were stolen by illegal immigrants, but officials never bothered to tell the taxpayers themselves, the agency’s inspector general said in a withering new report released Tuesday.
Investigators first alerted the IRS to the problem five years ago, but it’s still not fixed, the inspector general said, and a pilot program meant to test a solution was canceled, and fell woefully short anyway.
As a result mos ...

2.1 Billion.....Sep 25, 2014That's what has been spent so far on getting Obamacare up and running, including the website, fixes to the website (which still isn't fixed), IRS crosschecking, etc. That's alot of money - $2,100,000,000.00. With 8,000,000 signed up, what does that come out to per person? Somebody do the math.....I can't find a calculator big enough - but if I drop the 6 zeros and do 2100 divided by 8 - that comes to 262 - add the 6 zeroes back in - $262,000,000 - is that right ...
