I thought it would be a video or transcript of Obama saying something like "I love the sequester. If I wasn't already married, I'd marry that sequester. I invented the whole thing in my basement in 1984." But it's way more ambiguous. I'm not saying Obama didn't come up with the sequester and then the Republicans simply drew it from the stone like Excalibur, but these comments are vague. One could interpret either as "The sequester is going to fix this one way or the other," or you could interpret it as "The sequester will fix this because no one would be dumb enough to jump over that cliff."

It would be like if you had a cake and your friends were all fighting over who got to eat it, so you threw it out the window into the street, but then they all just went outside and licked it up out of the gutter. Obama could legitimately have thought this would have fixed it and now can't believe the two parties are that dumb.

Of course, the overriding lesson here is that both parties and the president are idiots. Everyone signed off on this thing. It's a creepy economic suicide pact and now that the day is upon us, we're all remembering how much we love not being dead.

are flaming the board. They probably do not understand why "their side" is losing, but the whiff of yet another failure is in the air and we see it in their excited attacks.

If the worst happens, this will still empower the Obama administration, foster a progressive agenda, and weaken the troglodyte faction in the House. The only way for them to avoid it is to give in and come to an agreement with Obama (but even then their block is weakened within the GOP faction). They can't win. The only question is how badly they lose.

Anyone have any suggestions how to interview well. I just suck at interviews. I look great on paper but I think I either tend to be too jokey or too serious/scared/timid. They did not pull any punches like MSM does. I had the Univision site up but there are 3 videos on there that all play at the same time. Distracting if you don't hurry up and stop the playing.
