Every MT needs to see this ad where HRC gives all out support to outsourcing while receiving $1 from India in 2008. It coincides with the decline of our industry where they sent all their doctors here and we sent them MT jobs.

A reader brought to my attention an anti-Clinton TV ad, consisting of excerpts from a speech Clinton gave in India. There Clinton says trying to stop offshore outsourcing is a “dead end,” something we should not bother with. Pretty powerful stuff, quite an effective counter to the brief mentions Hillary made against offshoring in her speech tonight. So powerful, in fact, that the DNC is trying to get TV stations to pull the ad from the air.

Maybe some politician can attract companies back by lower regulations. It's not always about greed, it's about staying competitive.

It looks to me as the US aluminum industry is all but gone already. Mostly over regulation has killed it. My husband's industry struggles to survive with crushing and meaningless regulations, as does that of my brother-in-law. We both see the end of our own way of making a living disappearing in the United States. It will soon be just too hard to continue here.

Manufacturing is leaving the country. It’s not coming back. Thank you, both parties.

Has anyone considered taking a court reporting course and learning to use a stenography machine? I've been looking into jobs doing closed capationing and I'm intrigued.
