But did MSM show Peter King who, BTW, sponsored the bill, and Weiner in an interview together? Bet not. They just showed Weiner so people would do EXACTLY what they are doing now.

I put Fox on because DH was late getting home and I wanted him to see Weiner flipping out. I had seen it on MSM earlier. I did NOT see them interview Peter King, only Weiner. So. what I got was one side of the story there. I got part of the story between these two on Fox. Truthfully, more needs to come out.

BTW. Weiner sounded like a broken record during the interview. He only had one thing to say over and over and over again.

Those of you who don't have an open mind or won't view this video because it's on Fox, well, what can I say? Closed minds do not make _______ (fill in the blank).

was all the yelling and screaming. If you can't make your point without screaming, yelling, and throwing a temper tantrum....you shouldn't be representing us in office. No matter whether this bill is right or wrong, you should be able to discuss your position without acting like a jerk. In my opinion, Mr. Weiner acted like a jerk.

I agree with the above poster. It was about a Senator who is supposed to be representing the people getting up and having a temper tantrum showing the country he has an anger management problem.

The other issue is where people watched this (Fox, CNN, MSNBC or wherever). I happened to watch it from a link that was provided by the original poster. That link was from comcast.net and there is an red AP in the bottom corner of the screen. I don't know if they are liberal or conservative, but I didn't base my reply on anything said anywhere else. I watched the video and I replied.

Also being accused of something you didn't do all because you don't reply with "way to go Wiener, you really showed them, I loved your temper tantrum and I'll vote for you any day. You're just the best". I never watched Fox at the time I replied, so didn't know what they had to say, but to be accused of watching Fox and repeating whatever it was that was said by them (which by the way my reply came I think way before Fox ever aired anything about it), then when they know they are wrong they don't come out and apologize, no instead they tell me "Maybe you are psychic. No need to remain in doubt Fox will be repeating its coverage..." and also "Maybe you are psychic and predicted what you will see later this evening" (again an ASSumption that I will watch Fox), which after those comments I did watch Fox to see what it was they were talking about and I didn't see what I wrote here on Fox. So they were wrong each time they replied with the snipes.

So my problem is not with whether there were interviews afterwards or who else voted for or against a bill. My problem is coming here to post my opinion and within seconds being attacked by someone who obviously adores Wiener and think its great he had a temper tantrum and was screaming and yelling because it was directed toward a republican.

I think the whole point is exactly as the above message says.... if you can't make your point without screaming and yelling and throwing a temper tantrum (which is exactly what he was doing because he was not getting his way) you should not be representing us in office. We don't elect these people for them to get up on stage (for the whole world to see) and act like a spoiled child. It sends the wrong message to the country and to the world. What's next, brawls, throwing things and punching each other like we see in other countries?

If you don't agree with something then calmly discuss the issues of why you don't agree or do agree. Yes, Mr. Wiener did act like a jerk.
