I'm not saying if Kapaernick is right or wrong but he did something that needed to be done, raised public consciousness. Anyone watching football because they play the national anthem is watching for the wrong reasons anyway and doesn't care much about the game. And, I don't need a bunch of holier than thou right wingers telling me where I can and can't shop. I'm not gay and I stand for the national anthem and salute the flag but like it or not as citizens we all share the same freedoms and that includes the right to non-violent protest.
