5th Circuit Court of Appeals rules TX voter

Posted: Aug 5, 2015

The law, which was originally passed in 2011, requires voters to show a photo ID before voting — such as a driver’s license or a concealed handgun license. For Texas voters, there are fewer options than in other states.;

The fix is in for the next election. This makes voting - pointless. Illegal votes count I

[ In Reply To ..]
guess. They did something similar in Arizona. I guess requiring ID is racist if you want to vote, but still require ID for...

Purchasing cigarettes and alcohol, opening a bank account, applying for social security, a mortgage, a job, donating blood, apply for Medicaid, apply for unemployment, get married, etc. I guess all those things are "racist"

We might as well put a poling booth next to the border.

Texas should ignore it. O ignores Federal judges - states should have the same

[ In Reply To ..]
option.

I would be happy to leave TX out of the - presidential election.

That's okay, I'd be happy to leave California out of the presidential election - Too many reasons why
[ In Reply To ..]
Mostly they do not vote with their heads.
Agreed. California is in major debt because of all the illegals - and benefits they get plus pensions and
[ In Reply To ..]
benefits like paying for sex-change operations. Recently in San Francisco I noticed it looks like 19th century Calcutta because the entitlement class urinates (and worse) in public places. I might leave Northern Cal out. In fact they want to split the state up like VA did during the CW.
Definitely Berkeley. Many students there SUPPORT the terrorist - attack on the soidiers in TN
[ In Reply To ..]
Your tax dollars are going to support this.
there's a discussion below about colleges and - indoctrination. Berkeley is way high
[ In Reply To ..]
on that list.

This was from the Appeals Court in New Orleans, the - Federal judge was an Obama appointee.

Like the Dems NEVER gerrymander when they are in control (sarc).

Once people give up on the integrity of elections, - increasing parts of society

[ In Reply To ..]
will just go underground.

It's easy to see why this was overturned. It would have made it more difficult for illegals to vote. Turning Texas blue.

Ruling author Judge Catarina Haynes, George W. Bush appointee - sm

Those pesky little FACTS.

Meanwhile in Mexico every eligible Mexican citizen - has to have tamper-proof photo ID

[ In Reply To ..]
card with a thumbprint and an embossed hologram. All citizens are required to show citizenship. Applicants are required to personally return to collect their voting credentials. How racist!

It just shows how the Democrat party is dependent on voter fraud to win elections.

they also have to get ID to get welfare benefits - nm

We need a president who can work within the constraints - of the Constitution, not bully

[ In Reply To ..]
his way around it like the current one.

Obama will call for restoration of - Voting Rights Act of 1965

[ In Reply To ..]
Interestingly, the 50th anniversary is on Thursday. This could give the Republican candidates something to talk about, I mean, if they run out of things, that is.

I suspect that has to do with requiring voter ID. - By next year anybody will be able

[ In Reply To ..]
to vote, no questions asked, even though under Obamacare you have to furnish an ID in order to receive services. You have to have an ID to enter a government building. but you do not need an ID to vote for our representatives.

Typical Democrats.

Since 2008, we've had 8 yrs of fraud, lies, and - ure evil and we survived. What we

[ In Reply To ..]
cannot survive is a successor who continues these wasteful, unconstitutional, and anti-American policies. I think on we and our kids are on the way to a Mad Max anarchy/Big Brother tyranny and it will be unstoppable.

Adios America.

Some insight into voting in Texas - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
I have a friend who had to go to court to change her name back from a previous marriage so that her IDs matched in order to register to vote. The change in these laws prevented her, also, from voting. She is not an immigrant, illegal or otherwise.

Yes? - So?

[ In Reply To ..]

That's what laws are for, to minimize fraud. I had to amend my - SS card when I got married.

[ In Reply To ..]
This just makes it easier to cheat.

Adios America.

It's no mystery why Democrats want to make voting easy, just like - illegal immigration. They don't

[ In Reply To ..]
care if a person can prove citizenship. Soon felons along with illegals will be able to vote. It's about power.

Appeals Court Strikes Down Obama Recess AppointmentsJan 25, 2013
Really? You mean the courts are finally going to start doing their job? A federal appeals court said Friday that President Obama overstepped his authority with a series of recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board. The case may wind up in the Supreme Court and determine how far the president can go in appointing people whose nominations would be filibustered in the Senate. The result could affect the standing of other Obama appointees, such as the head of the president's ...
