World Health Organization has said processed and red

my husband who has said this for years now. About 3 weeks ago he mentioned to me one day about eating a processed meat, told me not to have them very often as I made a sandwich one day. He is a real health person and we very seldom have red meat. He does mostly chicken and range free (?) I think is what he buys. He tries to buy organic foods when he can. I tell no lie, I love me a big medium rare steak every once in awhile. Seems like I heard about them putting red meat, processed meats in with cigarette smoking and asbestos exposure. Now that is really bad. ;

I stopped eating processed lunch meat years ago. - It has a high concentration of nitrates.

A few years ago, a physician (an M.D. who also practices alternative medicine) put me on an organic foods diet--no more migraines! And yes, organic foods do cost more, but as Dr. T. says, you can either pay more for your food or you can eat cheap food and pay the "savings" out in doctor bills. :) Anyway, it sure beats taking migraine meds, having to spend a couple of days in bed, etc.
