What happened to good ole talent? Sure don't like the new American Idol. They really need to leave out the sob stories and crocodile tears Oh, poor me, I had a hard life, I was in an accident, I had a horrid disease, someone picked on me, waah, waah, waah.

sob stories tonight and was after about 10 minutes into it. And what is up with all of this dragging the songs out, carrying out notes and in my opinion over singing???? This is only my 3rd time watching it this year and I am just not impressed at all. Personally, I miss Simon, lol. One thing about him that you could count on, he always told the truth and he always picked the best talent. He predicted that Carrie Underwood would be the highest selling Idol ever and true to form he is correct.

Oh well, I've watched it this long tonight, might as well finish. Oh goodness, now we have someone who sounds like Minnie Mouse talking about her house burning down ...... blah.

I am specifically referring to the guy a couple of weeks ago with the girlfriend who was spastic and brain damaged from a car accident. His rolling her out on display to boost his "story" was shameful. The very last thing he is, is selfless and loving.

You can say BAD PRODUCERS BAD BAD - they are not expected to care or have a conscience - but the the boyfriend, and especially the girl's own mother, exploiting her that way. Disgusting.

I hope he chokes. Literally.

Any comments on the new American Idol. I really enjoyed Wednesday's show I thought it was funny and refreshing. I have not seen Thursday and read where the reviews were not great. I think Jennifer Lopez will learn to say no as time goes on. This show and judges are such a bore now. The judges say the same predictable stuff. Its nothing without Simon. ...and they love James Durbin, but when he screams that high note, its horrible... horrible. My friend who teaches music noticed this too. Nobody deserved to win... and no.. not even James. He could not carry a tune. Lauren is a good singer, but really, if anyone has watched the show "The Voice", almost every contestant on there was better than anyone on idol this year.
