I need some advice on food stamps

I was recently terminated. I never received a termination letter which now I need to take to the county to collect food stamps. But after many attempts to contact human resources and TSM I am gettin no response. If they don't give it to me I can't collect food stamps. Anyone else have this problem? ;

[ In Reply To ..]You shouldn't need a termination letter to collect food stamps. You just have to provide all information they are requesting. They usually ask right on the application if you lost your job within the last 90 days. If they ask for verification, you can tell them you never got any and maybe they will submit a request for you.

What I Would Do - see msg

I would send TSM (and cc HR) an e-mail that "per your instructions during our phone conversation on [date and time], I am fully terminated from [company name] and will not be showing up during my regular scheduled hours." Or word it however you want. Then print that out. At least it's something. It may also spark TSM to respond.
In the e-mail, I would also verify that you have none of their equipment. If you do, put in the e-mail that you will be returning it.
