I agree. They all stink. When they have plenty of work and need your help, they will act like your best friends. But, as soon as the work dries up, things can change very quickly. This has happened to me more than twice in the last 5 years. Once they didn't need me anymore, they suddenly changed their tune and had no apparent conscience regarding dumping me like a hot potato. They were no longer the friendly and responsive company that they used to be. I'm always shocked, because I keep thinking that I've found a special company. Again, I've been disappointed several times, and it happened again this past week.
They say, the mark of true insanity is when you do the same thing over and over again, and expect a different result. So, I must be insane.
I suggest that we all start finding other ways to earn a living, whether it be another online job or something out of the house. There might be exceptions, but for many of us, this MT work seems to be only good for a little bit of spending money, and the future seems very bleak.
If you find one... - ...it won't be good for long

I would not expect for a "good" place to be "good" for long.
Anyone reading this, stop chasing MT companies hoping you'll find the perfect one and that will stay perfect.
People are getting out for a reason. Do you know how annoying it is to test w/a company, think it will work out, then kaboooom, it all goes bad on its own, or they get bought out by one of the 2 biggies....???
Get your heads out of the clouds.
