Right now I think it's the swim coach, and I thought that from the moment Julie Chen made the announcement to the houseguests, because of the look on his face through that whole scene. Then when he went to go get his toothbrush and toothpaste during the blackout, that just sealed it! But, it's almost too obvious so I wouldn't place any bets on it at this point.

Cutting out television was one of them and I just jumped on your post as an opportunity. No offense to those of you who like television, it's just me. I wanted to share.
"When you watch TV, brain activity switches from the left to the right hemisphere. In fact, experiments conducted by researcher Herbert Krugman showed that while viewers are watching television, the right hemisphere is twice as active as the left, a neurological anomaly. The crossover from left to right releases a surge of the bodyâs natural opiates: endorphins. Endorphins are structurally identical to opium and its derivatives (morphine, codeine, heroin, etc.). Activities that release endorphins (also called opioid peptides) are usually habit-forming (we rarely call them addictive).
Indeed, even casual television viewers experience such opiate-withdrawal symptoms if they stop watching TV for a prolonged period of time. An article from South Africaâs Eastern Province Herald (October 1975) described two experiments in which people from various socio-economic milieus were asked to stop watching television. In one experiment, several families volunteered to turn off their TVâs for just one month. The poorest family gave in after one week, and the others suffered from depression, saying they felt as though they had âlost a friend.â In the other experiment, 182 West Germans agreed to kick their television viewing habit for a year, with the added bonus of payment. None could resist the urge longer than six months, and over time all of the participants showed the symptoms of opiate-withdrawal: increased anxiety, frustration, and depression"
I would like to say that my work production has increased dramatically! It could be no TV and junk food, could be because since I'm not watching television I don't have the urge to quit working to go watch a show....

[ In Reply To ..]I too enjoy the mindless hours I spend in front of the TV. It's my "escape from reality" if you will. No thoughts of anything other than what is on the TV. The same thing happens when I read my book before I go to bed. I like to "get lost" for a while and let my problems take the back burner. After all, we all know they will be there when we come "back to reality!"

[ In Reply To ..]We watch TV, but since we have little ones, we don't make it a "habit". I limit the amount of time they watch and supervise what they watch. We have "family night" once a week. I don't think we watch a significant amount of TV enough to interfere with other things we do. My mother watches television from when she wakes up until she goes to sleep! She hardly gets out of her house either. I wonder if she would "withdraw" if he disconnected her cable? LOL! âº

I don't think I like the sabateur angle, though, because I like the game when people progress (or not) on their own game-play/manipulation/deception skills, not because of some unknown sabateur!
