Where do I turn....

I am in a time of need and to be perfectly honest, I do not know where to turn. My husband has just been diagnosed with lung cancer, golf ball sized lesion, so I know is not good. I feel like my world is falling apart but have to be strong for our children/grandchildren..... He is young, only 61. Sorry for venting but I just do not know how to get through this. I will hide my emotions from him, but how do I deal with what I am feeling.....?????

get some great suggestions to this post, as I am sure there are some here who have had to go through this. I do know that there are state or even county programs that offer emotional support as well as other things. Maybe you could look for these programs/groups online in your county? You might also ask the doctors/nurses of any support groups in your area. My prayers are with you. :)

I have been through your situation with both my parents. You are not alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My faith and a couple very good friends helped me tremendously.

You and your family will be in my prayers and I will request prayer at my church. Cancer is a horrible thing, but I know a woman who had throat cancer and was told that there was nothing to do but remove her tongue. She discussed the situation with her family and felt led to go to a church, healing service, in West Virginia. She is cancer free and doing all she can to serve God. Turn to God. He is the answer in all sitautions. God bless.

Last night I was watching the movie Emma on Masterpiece Theatre. I love that movie and think I actually like this one better than the Emma starring Gwyneth Paltrow. I ran the central air all summer long because of the many heat waves and extremely high temperatures and bills were averaging $160 to $180 a month!! Missed one month of paying it and now I owe close to $400 dollars. I finally turned it off a week ago and now have the ceiling fans running in every room, a window fan and a standing oscillating fan for when Im working, but its still hot.
