"modest" 35 million dollar home in Hawaii in January of 2013. (I hope he can take up PERMANENT 24/7 residence on that date). He always calls Hawaii "home" when he is vacationing on our dime, guess he doesn't want to call Chicago home - too many shootings within just blocks of his house there. Who would want to vacay there anyway? I'm glad they are buying something modest though, all the while demonizing Romney for having too much money - at least Romney earned his.

The only thing I found on the internet about the Obamas and a 35 million dollar home was listed as "Rumor." Maybe "rumor" passes as news for some.
