Strategy - good article

Posted: May 24, 2010

This article is dated 5/24 and I don't see anything here regarding it.  I just read it and thought it was a pretty good analysis.  I do think campaigning against Bush is a wrong move.  Especially for someone who keeps claiming to be a forward thinker.  I've never heard this administration take blame for any of the decisions they are making.  Just whenever something they do backfires, their solution is to blame Bush.  I think Americans are smart enough and waking up to it.

I don't take the article as a negative against either side.  Just thought it was an interesting article and I wanted to share.

I think what Obama (and a lot of Congress) doesn't understand is that we don't want back the Republicans from 2000 or 2004 - they helped make this mess. What they need to understand is that we also don't want the Democrats from 2006 and now that helped make the mess bigger. Heck, a lot of the incumbent Republicans are in trouble as well! They all need to go home and we need to start over with new people and new ideas.

Also, I think it would be nice - sm

if these politicians didn't make a killing money wise. We have politicians hammering CEOs for the crazy amount of money they make and look at the money politicians get in and out of office. I wish we could do something about that!!!

That would be a great start! (nm) - Zville MT

No matter how much you hate him this is a good article.  Cut him down all you want but it won't change the truth. Here's a quote from the article: Mr. Bush said that "the role of government is not to create wealth, but to create the conditions that allow entrepreneurs and innovators to thrive." I wish it was someone else who has said this because a lot of people sole purpose is hating and cutting him down, which diminishes from the importance of the article.   http://www ...

From American Thinker by Geoffrey Hunt Barack Obama is on track to have the most spectacularly failedpresidency since Woodrow Wilson.  In the modern era, we’ve seen severalfailed presidencies–led by Jimmy Carter and LBJ.  Failed presidents have onestrong common trait– they are repudiated, in the vernacular, spat out. Excellent article.  Doesn't CNN and others like Bruce Spinksteen (who cannot even carry a tune), Martin Sheen and all their other ilk realize how absolutely ridiculous they sound.  I never could stand Springsteen.  Never liked his music and his voice would make my fillings rattle, but when they think because they've sold records or movies that they think they know more than the American people who happen to be involved in politics and research information, that's wh ...

I am not single, but I do suffer from many of the issues in this article. I do NOT, however, feel compelled to keep up with the Joneses on bragbook at all, nor do I feel I cover up my situation. However, you don't want everyone to know you went bankrupt now, do you? So some element of daily subterfuge is required. The article is about being a woman, older, and unemployed. I am not unemployed, but I may as well be, working my butt off for 40 hours a week for slightly more than minimum wage. ...

The Republican StrategyFeb 19, 2010
It takes awhile to make sense of the entrails of the Republican Party, partly because they are just so toxic, but also because it's actually difficult to comprehend that an American political party can so deliberately sabotage its own government and nation. But after observing their behavior and their policy of, "Just Say No" -- sometimes to their own suggestions, one can only surmise that they long ago left the business of governing and have instead agreed to a covert game plan of destruc ...

Weird Democratic Strategy ...maybe? Jun 23, 2014
Has anyone else noticed the new Democrat strategy of trying to connect with the people in this country not making a million or more a year?  Hilary did the "we were broke when we left the White House" story and now Biden is thanking us for taking care of him? One Of The Most Serious Deficits In Obama's ISIS Strategy.Mar 25, 2016
We all know that Obama has an almost pathological aversion to prisoners when it comes to terrorists. You don't get intel from dead bodies.  Capture is ALWAYS preferable, especially when it comes to people in high positions, to killing them with drones and special raids.  So, they're bragging about killing the ISIS "#2" guy.  Don't brag, Obama.  We've shown time and time again that these people are merely replaced.  If you'd captured him, I' ...

Trump’s Cheese In The Maze StrategyJun 20, 2017
Operation Overlord, the most successful amphibious invasion in history, was in no small part successful due to the most effective deception and disinformation campaign in history. It’s something he said he’d do nearly 18 months ago, but neither Obama nor Congress made a significant move. No hearings were held. But after the news conference — seven weeks after ...
