My family and I saw the movie, 2016 Obama's America, last evening. Whatever your party affiliation and however you plan to vote, you owe it to yourself to see this movie. People left the theater talking about it. It is very informative and very well done. I may even go and see it again this coming weekend because I could not absorb all the information presented. I actually think it even gave me some insight into myself and why I think and feel the way I do. I love this country and regardless of the state of things now, there is no other country on earth I would rather be a citizen of.
;I found most of the reviews to be okay but I only read the reviews down to Salon. Won’t even comment on Salon because, as we all know, anyone who says anything against Obama is a racist. My review of Salon is just the opposite. Salon "writers" who calls anyone with a difference of opinion racists are trying to cover up their own racism.
As some reviews stated:
1. "Well, fair’s fair. George W. Bush got Michael Moore and “Fahrenheit 9/11.” Now Barack Obama gets Dinesh D’Souza and “2016: Obama’s America.” Both films are wildly partisan attack documentaries made by wildly partisan and generally annoying polemicists (D’Souza is more personable, actually, than Moore)."
2. "The film, which aims to locate the president’s political roots in his family background and personal history, is very slickly made. The varying of formats is impressive — interviews, news footage, photographs, lots (and lots) of scenes of D’Souza going about his business — and the views of Hawaii, Indonesia, and Kenya (D’Souza visits all three places) are diverting. The film’s budget has been reported to be $2.5 million, but there’s nothing bargain basement about how “2016” looks."
3. "D'Souza's doc will inevitably be compared to Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11, a film that was released to great fanfare right before George W. Bush was re-elected in 2004. D'Souza employs many of the same questionable techniques as Moore. D'Souza's constant references to his youth in India are as self-serving as Moore's frequent exploitation of Flint, Michigan. "
4. "In one vaguely bi-partisan section of the film, D'Souza uses footage of Occupy Wall Street protesters to drill home the fact that a lot of liberals are also upset with Obama. And D'Souza should be commended for being slightly more balanced in his approach to understanding Obama than Moore was when probing Bush. Liberals who quickly dismiss D'Souza's contention that predicting Obama's second term means digging into his entire life story should examine their own belief that George W. Bush's policies were influenced by serious daddy issues."

I have never relied on a movie review to make up my mind on a movie but I think if my area is lucky enough to get this movie, I will go see it. As it stands, I would have to go 100 miles away to see it now.
Instead of commenting negatively on the movie because it delves into the President's background, I would suggest everyone go see it if they're able to and then come back here and give your opinion on it. Otherwise, negative comments don't hold water since you really didn't watch it.
