Salon struggling to pay its rent.

publisher, is having trouble paying its rent. A landlord who late last year evicted Salon from its New York offices for nonpayment of $90,000 in back rent is now trying to force the digital publisher to pay more than $700,000 for the unused portion of a five-year lease that is slated to run through September 2019. Salon had been paying over $300,000 a year to Vbgo Penn Plaza for offices at 31 Penn Plaza, near Madison Square Garden. By the fall of 2016, according to a suit filed recently in Manhattan state court, Salon had already fallen behind in its rent covering the period from July 2016 to Sept. 30, to the tune of $90,565. Vbgo said it evicted Salon in December and now is trying to get the struggling Web media company to pay up for the rest of the lease. Salon, which has since set up New York offices elsewhere in Manhattan, declined to comment ;

They're all talk, no action. If they were so proud of this dumazz Salon rag, they would be stepping up to pay off his debt. Bet you know the Liberal Fascists - great at telling everyone else what to do, but never put their money where their mouth is.

The US left was all in for Hitler as a BFF early on and only turned on him when he invaded their first and only true love, the Soviet Union.

Progressives have long had a secret crush on dictatorship.

My dad has an original clipping of a news cartoon from that time commenting on the refusal of FDR to pay the bonus to the WWI Veterans. FDR had zero concern or consideration for the wounded and permanently disabled WWI US vets who had been gassed in the trenches. There was a long memory of the veterans of those days, hating FDR right up into WWII and hating him more for what they saw as his manipulating the US into yet another war (to cover up his crappy job aggravating the Depression, which the country was coming out of and didn’t need a war). People remembered his treatment of WWI vets, many of whom would return for WWII. Such were the times.

From the inside flap:

"Admirers of FDR credit his New Deal with restoring the American economy after the disastrous contraction of 1929--33. Truth to tell-as Powell demonstrates without a shadow of a doubt-the New Deal hampered recovery from the contraction, prolonged and added to unemployment, and set the stage for ever more intrusive and costly government...

Sorry in advance for this being so long, but I could really use some impartial advice. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years, together for 6 years before that, since I was 16. We have always had a pretty chaotic relationship. We lived together before we were married and fought a lot even then. I would go back to my mom's for a few days or couple weeks, and then he would call and I would go back. After we were married, things didn’t get any better. He was in an accid ...
